Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

O'Reilly Rebounds With Hard-Hitting Exposé on Notorious Abortionist
Is abortion unconstitutional in Mexico?
It certainly is here in America, but our Supreme Court decided not to believe that and caused millions of American children to be slaughtered in their mother's wombs . . .

White House Officially Recognizes Homosexual Unions and Parenting?
By John-Henry Westen and John Jalsevac
HUNTINGTON, Conn., May 30, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - On May 23, 2007, the White House released an official White House photo of Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife, Lynne Cheney, welcoming their sixth grandchild, Samuel David Cheney, into the Cheney fold. The child is the offspring of Mary Cheney and an unreported male sperm donor.
However the official White House photo caption indicates the child’s “parents” are Mary Cheney and her homosexual partner, Heather Poe.
Stephen Bennett, a pro-family advocate who left the homosexual lifestyle and now has a ministry to convince others of its dangers, expressed his concern about the White House’s decision to caption the photo this way. “What is extremely troubling is the official White House caption that appears underneath the photo on the official White House website,” said Bennett.
Rather than merely stating that the child is the “child of their daughter Mary Cheney," the White House photo caption states, “... His parents are the Cheney's daughter Mary, and her partner, Heather Poe.”
“Since when have two homosexual women been able to naturally procreate?,” commented Bennett. “Fact is Mary Cheney, the Vice President's daughter - in one way or another - received a male's sperm. She is the biological mother, parent number one, and some man, somewhere out there, is Samuel David's real biological father, parent number two.”
He added, “Heather Poe is Mary Cheney's live-in lesbian lover. She may act like a parent, she may treat the baby as a parent, she may love this baby with all of her heart, but in this reality we all live in, Heather Poe is NOT the baby's real parent. She has NO biological connection to the child whatsoever. Some man, the baby's real Daddy, is the child's other REAL parent.”
Bennnet called the White House to account for what he called its "Double Speak," pointing out that while Bush has publicly stated that he is against recognizing homosexual unions, by recognizing Heather Poe as one of Samuel Cheney’s “parents” he is effectively doing exactly that.
"President George W. Bush held several press conferences calling for a Federal Marriage Amendment to protect the God-ordained institution of marriage between one man and one woman," said Bennet, concluding, "I say shame on the White House, shame on the President and shame on the Vice President for allowing such a caption to be ‘officially’ added onto the White House website and such a beautiful photo of two happy grandparents and their new grandchild."
Calls to the White House were not returned by a White House spokesman prior to press time.
Russian Orthodox Church to Protest Abortions with Candle Light Vigil on International Children’s Day
By Gudrun Schultz
VLADIVOSTOK, Russia, May 30. 2007 (www.LifeSiteNews.com) - Five thousand candles will be lit in Vladivostok's Russian Orthodox Church on Thursday to protest abortion, in observance of the International Children's Day held on June 1.
Russia has one of the highest abortion rates in the world, with 60 percent of pregnancies ending in abortion. In 2005 the country's abortion rate outstripped the birthrate for the first time, LifeSiteNews.com reported last year. Abortion is commonly used as a form of birth control, with the highest percentage occurring among women in their late twenties and early thirties, according to the State Committee on Statistics for the Russian Federation states.
A Vladivostock News report on the protest pointed out that Russia's population is predicted to decline by one-third in the next fifty years, with the population dropping by more than 700,000 per year already.
Russia President Vladimir Putin admitted in 2006 that the country's plunging birth rate was the central factor in the "critical" population decline. In an effort to encourage women to have more children, a ten-year national programme was implemented to offer an increase in childcare benefits.
Low wages in the economically struggling country are seen as a contributing factor to the low birth rate, with married women using abortion as a method of birth control to avoid the cost of raising children. Many women face raising children alone on minimal incomes--between 65 to 80 percent of Russian marriages end in divorce, according to Vladivostock News.

Thomas More Law Center Files Federal Lawsuit Against Detroit Police On Behalf Of Pro-Life Demonstrator
ANN ARBOR, MI – The Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor Michigan, announced today that it has filed a federal lawsuit against the Detroit Police Department, Police Chief Bully-Cummins, and other officers in order to vindicate the First Amendment rights of Monica Miller, a pro-life demonstrator who was told to go home and threatened with arrest while engaged in peaceful pro-life activities.
Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, commented, "Abortion is one of the greatest evils in our nation, and those who continue to protest abortion must be given the full protection of the First Amendment, regardless of the popularity of their message."
The suit arose when Miller and others were engaged in a peaceful pro-life counter- demonstration near a pro-life pregnancy center that was being picketed by pro-abortion protesters. Miller called for police assistance when she witnessed pro-abortion protesters assaulting a pro-life protester. When the police showed up, they told Miller she had to march in a circle in the same area as pro-abortion demonstrators and said her pro-life poster violated Detroit's sign ordinance. When Miller objected, she was ticketed for violating the sign ordinance and "failing to obey a lawful order."
The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court in Detroit, and seeks a declaration that Miller's First Amendment rights were violated, an injunction prohibiting the Defendants from applying Detroit's sign ordinance to Miller and others engaged in similar activities, as well as damages and fees.
Patrick T. Gillen, the Law Center's attorney who will represent Miller at trial, expressed concern that the violation of Miller's rights is part of a larger and more disturbing pattern. "There is reason to believe that Detroit's Police Department has decided that the best way to deal with pro-life protesters is to keep them off the street. This suit should put the department on notice that there are consequences for disregarding the First Amendment rights of those who seek to speak out on behalf of the most vulnerable."
The Thomas More Law Center defends and promotes the religious freedom of Christians, time-honored family values, and the sanctity of human life through education, litigation, and related activities. It does not charge for its services. The Law Center is supported by contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations, and is recognized by the IRS as a section 501(c)(3) organization. You may reach the Thomas More Law Center at (734) 827-2001 or visit our website at www.thomasmore.org.

“Harrowing” Romanian Abortion Film Wins Cannes’ Palm D’Or; Second Abortion Film to Win a Prestigious Film Festival
By Peter J. Smith and John Jalsevac
CANNES, France, May 28, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Judges at the 60th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival awarded the coveted Palm d'Or to what is being described as a "harrowing" film. The winning submission depicts the personal and moral consequences that a young woman and her friend face as they attempt to obtain an illegal abortion for the young woman while living in communist Romania.
Directed by Romanian director Cristian Mungiu and named for the age of the aborted baby, "4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days" [4 Luni, 3 Saptamini si 2 Zile], the film beat out 22 other contenders for the top prize.
The low-budget film is set during the final years of the brutal communist dictatorship of Nicolae Ceausescu, and unfolds in just one day. The cold colors, the dark topic, and the up-close and personal approach to story-telling make the film a bleak, but powerful work of art, say many of those who saw it at Cannes.
In the film the pregnant Gabita, with the help of her friend, Otilia, meet with the inhuman and manipulative abortionist Mr. Bebe. In what is said to be one of the most powerful scenes in the film, Mr. Bebe gives the girls a purposely graphic description of the abortion procedure.
Not content with taking life, however, Mr. Bebe exploits the situation further, demanding that Gabita and Otilia pay the terrible price of their personal dignity by exchanging sex for the abortion. According to one reviewer, the scene takes place "notably off camera," showing Mungiu's ability to instill "a sordid and heavy environment without yielding to demonstration."
However Mungiu decides to bring his audience face-to-face with the disturbing reality of abortion by lingering upon the horrible and heart-rending image of the aborted baby in the bathtub. The camera then follows Otilia as she disposes of the baby.
"It makes a point," the director told reporters at a press conference. "People should be aware of the consequences of their decisions."
Since abortion had become so commonplace across Romania in the 1990s, continuing up to today, Mungiu said that he wanted women to consider deeply "the moral issue" of abortion rather than about "getting caught," as was the primary concern under the communist regime. The communist regime was notoriously upsupportive of women who were pregnant with an unwanted child, or a child they feared they could not support. As a consequence many women were led to believe they had no option but to seek an illegal abortion. If caught, however, they often suffered serious consequences.
Now, however, says Mungiu, "getting caught" is not the preoccupying issue. Instead, he says, women can now take the time to consider abortion and all of its consequences.
"People have a tendency of avoiding and thinking about what they don't like," said Mungiu. "People have to think of their consequences."
"4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days" is the second film involving the abortion issue to win the highest award at a prestigious international film festival in the last year. "Bella," which also, but with more subtlety, tackled the topic of abortion, was the winner of the People's Choice Award at the 2006 Toronto Film Festival.
In fact, at least on the superficial level, the two films have much in common. Much like the Romanian film, "Bella" was extremely low budget, and was praised for its intimacy and eschewal of Hollywood hyper-polish. Much of the camerawork in "Bella" is static, instead allowing the story of the film to speak for itself. "Bella," much like "4 Months" also takes place over a 24 hour period, and centers around the difficult decision of a young pregnant woman about whether or not to abort her child.

Oklahoma Bans State Funds for Abortion in State Hospitals, With Exceptions
By Peter J. Smith
OKLAHOMA CITY, May 25, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) — State-funded medical facilities in Oklahoma may no longer perform most abortions under a new bill that became law on Wednesday.
"Virtually every hospital in the state of Oklahoma will no longer be allowed to do [abortions],” Linda Gray Murphy, a lobbyist with the National Association of Social Workers told Reuters. “If you live in rural Oklahoma, your hospital probably receives state funding."
SB 139 was passed by both the Oklahoma House and Senate and became law after Gov. Brad Henry took no action on the bill for five days. The bill now prohibits state funded medical facilities or state employees to perform abortions unless the life of the mother is threatened, she risks impairment to major bodily functions, or in the cases of rape or incest if the crime is first reported to police.
The bill does not affect privately owned hospitals or medical institutions, but only those which receive state funds.
Gov. Henry had vetoed the previous bill passed by the Legislature for making no exceptions for rape, incest, or birth defects lethal to the baby. That bill would have passed with a veto-proof majority were it not for the late minute defection of Sen. Charles Laster (D-Shawnee).
Gov. Henry agreed to let the bill become law without his signature, but said he wanted to address allowing abortion for lethal births in the next legislative session.
Joseph Scheidler, national director for the Pro-life Action League, however took issue with the bill’s health exceptions for abortion.
“Abortion is not a life-saving surgery,” Scheidler said according to CNHI News Service, adding that modern medicine is so sophisticated now that very few women die because of a pregnancy. Scheidler also added it was dangerous for people to look at babies with fatal fetal abnormalities and say “let’s kill this baby because it’s going to die.” Scheidler pointed out everyone dies eventually and doctors do make mistakes in diagnoses.

Tribute Video to Short Life of Handicapped Baby Inspires and Touches Tens of Thousands
Parents of Eliot, a Trisomy 18 child, celebrated every moment of what they knew would be a brief lifespan
By John Jalsevac
FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas, May 23, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In an age when abortion on demand is the norm, and when doctors routinely advise pregnant mothers to abort children found to have genetic abnormalities, parents who choose to give birth to handicapped children are becoming less common.
These days it takes a special type of courage to ignore the advice of physicians, friends, and public sentiment, and to embrace the sacrifices that come with bringing a seriously handicapped child into the world.
Eliot Mooney was one such child. Despite being diagnosed 30 weeks into pregnancy with the typically fatal condition Trisomy 18, Eliot’s parents chose to bring the pregnancy to term.
Their son defied statistical probability by surviving the pregnancy. Eliot Mooney was born with an undeveloped lung, a heart with a hole in it and DNA that placed faulty information into each and every cell of his body.
He would live for only 99 days.
As Eliot’s father says, however, the short length of his son’s life “could not stop the living God from proclaiming Himself through this boy who never uttered a word.”
Knowing that Eliot’s chances of long-term survival were almost nil, on each of the 99 days of his life Eliot’s parents, Matt and Ginny Mooney, celebrated their son’s birthday, noting significant developments in Eliot’s life.
After their son’s death, Matt and Ginny compiled some of the photos and videos of their son’s life into a touching and inspiring 6 minute long tribute video. The video begins two months before Eliot’s birth, when Matt and Ginny found out about their son’s condition, and continues up until, and after his death.
The video, called “Ninety-nine Balloons”, concludes: “Not a pulpit, not a slick presentation, not a best-selling book, but a six-pound boy with Trisomy 18. God showed great pleasure to take a lowly thing in the eyes of the world and show truth…And so today we celebrate. Eliot you are well, and although we miss you more than we can express, we are only separated by our time left on earth. See you soon son. Mom and dad.”
The Mooney’s video has already been viewed over 35,000 times on YouTube alone, with many taking inspiration from the selfless love shown to baby Eliot by his devoted parents.

Bishops’ Conference Responds To 18 Democrats Critical Of Pope
WASHINGTON (May 18, 2007)—The 18 Democrats who recently criticized Pope Benedict XVI when he answered questions about Mexico’s legalizing abortion both misrepresented the Pope’s remarks and defied freedom of speech and freedom of religion.
The position was noted by Sister Mary Ann Walsh, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Director of Media Relations in a May 18 statement, which follows.
Response to 18 Democrats
Sister Mary Ann Walsh, RSM
Director of Media Relations
United States Conference of Catholic Bishops
In an unfortunate May 10 statement, 18 of the 88 Catholic Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives criticized Pope Benedict XVI’s remarks concerning Mexican lawmakers legalizing abortion. The Representatives’ statement misrepresents the Holy Father’s remarks and implies that the Church does not have a right to voice its teaching in the public square.
The Holy See has made clear that neither the Mexican bishops nor the Holy Father have excommunicated any legislator. Rather, the Holy See reiterated longstanding Church teaching that anyone who freely and knowingly commits a serious wrong, that is, a mortal sin, should not approach the Eucharist until going to confession.
“The Catholic Church proclaims that human life is sacred and that the dignity of the human person is the foundation of a moral vision of society.” (United States Catechism for Adults, p. 442) Consequently, every Catholic is obliged to respect human life, from conception until natural death.
To suggest that the Church should not clearly voice its teaching and apply it in a pluralistic society is to attack freedom of speech and freedom of religion. The Catholic Church always will and must speak out against the destruction of innocent unborn children. The right to do so is guaranteed by the Constitution that all legislators are elected to uphold. Speaking and acting against abortion is not a matter of partisan politics. It is a matter of life and death.
The bishops urge all Catholics, especially those who hold positions of public responsibility, to educate themselves about the teaching of the Church, and to seek pastoral advice so that they can make informed decisions with consistency and integrity.

OPERATION RESCUE PRESS RELEASE
Joint Press Conference Tomorrow To Address Partial-Birth Abortion Enforcement
Wichita, KS - May 22nd, 2007 - The Christian Defense Coalition and Operation Rescue will hold a press conference outside the United States Attorney's Office in Wichita to demand to know how the federal government plans to enforce the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act now that it has been upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court.
What: Press Conference concerning enforcement of the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act
When: Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at 11:00 AM
Where: Outside the U.S. Attorney's Office at 301 N. Main, Wichita, KS 67202
While the city's only abortionist, George R. Tiller, claims he does not do the banned partial birth abortion procedure, his employee, abortionist LeRoy Carhart, who is in Wichita doing abortions this week, graphically admits doing them, and was in fact the lead plaintiff in U.S. Supreme Court case, Gonzales v. Carhart, that challenged the ban.
"We have the poster-boy for partial-birth abortions in town today doing late-term abortions at Tiller's mill. How do we know he is in compliance with the federal law with which he so adamantly disagrees? We don't without an investigation. We demand that U.S. Attorney Eric Melgren launch an immediate and exhaustive investigation into abortions done by Carhart," said Troy Newman, President, Operation Rescue.
Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, comments, "It is important for the Department of Justice to give assurances to the American people as to how and when they plan to enforce the federal ban on this barbaric procedure. A Supreme Court decision means very little if it is not enforced. Now is the time for the Attorney General to publicly share the strategies the Department of Justice has put in place to guarantee the rule of law is honored."
Rev. Mahoney and Newman are traveling around the nation to cities where partial-birth abortionists work, to meet with Department of Justice officials concerning enforcement of the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act.
PRIESTS FOR LIFE NEWSLETTER
A Community for Life
Fr. Frank Pavone
National Director, Priests for Life
In the Church there are all kinds of missions, ministries, and charisms. Many communities have sprung up throughout the centuries, in which Christians have come together to grow in holiness, and to carry out a particular service to others. Some communities teach, some feed the poor, some tend to the sick in hospitals, some minister to youth. Each has a unique charism, and yet each charism accents something that belongs to the life and calling of every Christian.
In our day, there is nothing more antithetical to the Gospel, and more destructive of human life, than abortion. No disease claims as many victims, no war takes as many lives, and no act of terrorism comes near to creating as much devastation as abortion brings to the human family. That is why the US bishops have declared, "Among important issues involving the dignity of human life with which the Church is concerned, abortion necessarily plays a central role. … It is imperative that those who are called to serve the least among us give urgent attention and priority to this issue of justice." (US Bishops’ Pastoral Plan for Pro-life Activities, 2001).
It makes sense, then, that there should be a community focused on saving the unborn and ending abortion. Hence, in 1991, Cardinal John O’Connor started the Sisters of Life. They are a flourishing religious community in New York. (Find more information at www.SistersOfLife.org).
What about a similar community for priests, deacons, and lay men? Such a community now exists, based on the mission and spirit of Priests for Life. Last year I was privileged to become the founder and first Moderator General of the Missionaries of the Gospel of Life. We have several priests and seminarians in formation in our first group.
This community is a Society of Apostolic Life, which means that the focus is more on the mission than on the community. It is based in Amarillo, Texas, but its mission is the entire nation. Members receive a full immersion in all facets of pro-life work, and travel the country preaching, teaching, and ministering to the entire pro-life movement. We counsel those tempted to abort, heal those who have aborted, challenge and educate government officials, train clergy, and utilize mass media. As the Constitutions state, "The Society seeks to give witness before the Church and the world to the priority of the right to life as the foundation of all other rights, and to the absolute claims to respect and protection that this right makes upon every individual and community in the human family" (n.4.1).
The pro-life movement is the greatest human rights movement of our time. Combining pro-life activism with the grace of priesthood is a powerful formula. All are called to do something about abortion. Some are called to make it their life’s vocation. We need your help to get the word about this new community out to those who might be called. If you or someone you know may be interested in pursuing such a vocation, come and visit us! See www.MissionariesoftheGospelofLiMonday, May 21, 2007
Pro-Choice is all about making an ILL INFORMED CHOICE
Another classic example of how the pro-choice camp's bread and butter is all about having NO CHOICE and making ILL INFORMED CHOICES...
[source]Women seeking an abortion in South Carolina would be able, but not required, to view an ultrasound first under a compromise bill that received approval Wednesday in the state Senate. The legislation is a softer version of a proposal that passed in the House in March that would have required women to view the images.
The compromise, passed on a voice vote without debate, would also require women to reflect on the image they saw. It meant to maximize the time between a woman seeing her ultrasound, if she chooses, and her scheduled abortion.
'The point is to have a period of reflection,' said Republican Sen. Mike Fair, a sponsor of the measure. 'This is as good as we could do, and we think it's reasonable.'
Supporters think women might change their minds after seeing an ultrasound and choose to keep the child or offer it for adoption. Critics consider it a way to intimidate women who already have made an agonizing decision.
As long as the the CHOICE is anything other then life... pro-aborts want women to stay dangerously ignorant about their own reproduction and biology of their pregnancy for the sake of keeping mass infanticide legal and readily available. Don't take away their "right" to kill by offering CHOICES.
Pro-Choice=NO Choice

Regulation That Impedes Free Speech of Pro-Life Protesters is Unconstitutional
Federal Judge "Rains" on Granite City's Parade Ordinance
Contact: Tom Brejcha, 312-782-1680, 312-590-3408 cell; Tom Ciesielka 312-422-1333
GRANITE CITY Ill., May 18 /Christian Newswire/ -- A federal district court in East Saint Louis, Illinois, has just entered 'summary judgment' that Granite City, Illinois' "Ordinance Regulating the Location or Size of Signs During Certain Parades" violates the First Amendment rights of pro-life protesters Angela and Daniel Michael and their daughter, Mia. The Michaels, who conduct "Small Victories," a pro-life ministry in "Metro East," across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, conduct sidewalk counseling outside "Hope Clinic for Women," a large late-term abortion provider based in Granite City that attracts abortion-bound women and girls from all over the Midwest. They also conduct pro-life protests and demonstrations, including at Granite City's four annual parades.
Trying to suppress the Michaels' protests, Granite City passed an ordinance that banned all "signs larger than 8 ½ inches by 11 inches total, within twenty-five feet of any portion of the parade route in Granite City." The Michaels filed suit and last August, the court barred the city's enforcement of the ordinance at its Labor Day parade, and the Michaels conducted their protest as planned, displaying large graphic anti-abortion signs.
Reaffirming his prior ruling, U.S. District Judge William Stiehl held that although it "appear[ed] content-neutral on its face," Granite City's parade ordinance "was not narrowly tailored and amounted to a 'heckler's veto.'" The court said "there is no valid argument that an 8 ½ by 11 inch sign is the least restrictive alternative available to meet the goals of free pedestrian traffic, unobstructed views by parade goers and public safety." The ruling does not end the case, however, as the Michaels' lawsuit also complained that the city's actions during the November 2005 Christmas parade "amounted to a restriction of [their] First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and religion because [city officials] withheld police protection ... and threatened to charge [the Michaels] with assault."
Today the court rescheduled a "final pretrial conference" that had been set for next Monday afternoon, finding that the "parties have requested a settlement conference," and that the conference will proceed before Magistrate Judge Philip M. Frazier.
Tom Brejcha, president and chief counsel of Chicago's Thomas More Society, counsel for the Michaels together with Jason Craddock, an Illinois lawyer affiliated with the Alliance Defense Fund, said that, "We are very pleased that the Michaels have finally prevailed against this transparent effort to frustrate their very effective and eloquent pro-life advocacy. And if we can't reach a just settlement of all the remaining issues in this case, we'll pursue the matter aggressively through trial where we expect to prevail as well."
About The Thomas More Society
The Thomas More Society is a non-profit, public interest law firm based in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 1997 to meet the burgeoning legal needs of the pro-life movement. The Thomas More Society provides legal advice and assistance to those who face harassment, employment discrimination, unjust treatment, civil litigation or criminal prosecution as a result of their pro-life views or their peaceful protest activities. In the last three years, Thomas More Society has scored two decisive victories before the U.S. Supreme Court in representing the named petitioners in the marathon, nationwide federal class action involving use of the federal racketeering (RICO), extortion and antitrust law against abortion protesters (Scheidler v. NOW, 537 U.S. 393, 411 (2003), and Scheidler v. NOW, 125 S.Ct. 2991 (2006)). In addition, the Society has filed numerous 'friend of the Court' briefs in the Supreme Court. More recently, the Society submitted a brief for an Illinois pro-life coalition successfully urging the Illinois Supreme Court to issue procedural rules to allow implementation of Illinois' parental notification law of 1995

Academic Apostasy Why do Catholic colleges and universities honor those who are advocates and leaders of the Culture of Death? Unfortunately the majority of Catholic universities in the United States have followed the "John F. Kennedy" model of Catholicism, which holds that Catholicism won't "get in the way" of the really "important" work. Since those days, the early 60s, these schools have followed the secular model reflective of the desire of many Catholics at the time to gain acceptance into the wider American culture. In those days rebellion against the "establishment" was seen as a virtue and the Church was seen by many as a rule-bound, integral part of this "establishment" bent on restricting human freedom. A lack of evangelization, proper catechesis and understanding led to views that the Church was something to be freed from rather than freed by. Justice is properly defined as depriving another of what is rightfully his. To claim to espouse justice as a "Gospel value" while depriving others the right to be born by killing them in the womb is a mockery and a lie. Political correctness, it seems, has supplanted the true Gospel at many Catholic universities. Action Item: Villanova University has invited pro-abortion advocate Chris Matthews for their graduation where he will receive an honorary degree. In his television commentary and newspaper columns, Matthews has publicly supported abortion rights, even suggesting the validity of partial-birth abortion for severely handicapped babies. You may write to the Vice-President of Notre Dame Graduate School, Mr. Michael Edwards at: medward1@nd.edu Please, be polite and charitable in your messages. |
