Through 40 Days for Life, it's possible to prayerfully reach out and change hearts and minds -- women who are pondering abortions ... passersby on the street ... and even the people who work in the abortion business and see your public witness through the windows of their buildings.
Prayer. Does. Work!
I don't know about you, but I can't wait for this campaign to get started!

Farmington, New Mexico

A new 40 Days for Life team in Farmington is ready to go!
Originally, there hadn 't been a vigil scheduled in Farmington ... because Planned Parenthood had decided that its abortion referral center would shut down this month.
But then after the abortion giant announced the closure, some deep-pocketed donors bailed it out. The office, Planned Parenthood trumpeted, would remain open.
40 Days for Life supporters in New Mexico were not going to take that news sitting down … and they immediately went out and started planning their local vigil.
The campaign kicked off on a cold, rainy day. "We had about 60 people in attendance," said Sarah in Farmington. "It was a great event. A Catholic priest, a Baptist pastor, and two New Mexico state representatives all spoke."

Nairobi, Kenya

Many of the international 40 Days for Life campaigns face special challenges. That is the case for the volunteers who will be praying outside the Marie Stopes headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.
Marie Stopes is a London-based chain that is trying to extend its outreach in Africa and Latin America. Many activists speculate the organization is encouraging abortions in places where they are illegal.
In fact, one group -- CitizenGO - Africa – has even delivered a petition to Kenya’s ministry of health, demanding that Marie Stopes’ license be revoked and calling on the health secretary to close the Marie Stopes offices.
Marie Stopes advertises "pregnancy solutions" on the streets of Nairobi, encouraging women to call them for appointments.
Please pray for Nairobi -- and all 40 Days for Life campaigns!

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.
-- 2 Chronicles 7:14
Heavenly Father, we cry out for Your mercy and ask you to remove the scourge of abortion from our land. Use us as your vessels, Lord, to bring the light of Your truth to our nation once again.
