40 Days For Life: DAY 4: Hollywood vs. Georgia

I just returned from Georgia, where I learned of an 11-year-old girl saved from abortion during the first nationally coordinated campaign back in 2007! In fact, that 11-year-old girl has since held ANOTHER baby saved by a 40 Days for Life campaign in Georgia! It's a reminder of what God makes possible when we show up. That's a big deal at a time when the State of Georgia is under attack. Out-of-state politicians, out-of-touch corporations, and C-list actresses have all set their sites on the Peach State for enacting a law that protects unborn children once a heartbeat is detected. But the momentum I saw at the Marietta campaign shows just how out of touch these elitists are. More than 250 pro-lifers packed the room--including pastors, pregnancy center staff, representatives from Georgia Right to Life, and...Abby Johnson's mom (sort of).

Robin DeMarco--who plays Abby’s mom in Unplanned--attended. Suzanne and her daughter Rachel (below on the left) lead the Marietta campaign and are as good as it gets--true pro-life heroes. We also heard from two post abortive women who shared their powerful testimonies.

Washington, D.C. Our good friend and the national director of Priests for Life, Fr. Frank Pavone, dropped by the Washington, D.C. Planned Parenthood to encourage the pro-lifers who were on site. Michael, the local leader, believes a baby might have been saved by the 13 prayer warriors and sidewalk counselors manning the street that day. "A couple that looked abortion-minded left about five minutes after entering Planned Parenthood," he said.
