I was attending an Irish dancing festival in the Catskills, cherishing my time away from the daily grind of secular journalism. A clergyman interrupted my frivolity with an important sermon. He felt called to address the congregants with a pro-life message. He decried the brutality of abortion and left me on the verge of tears. Cambria-Somerset Citizens Concerned for Human Life will have an educational and display booth at the American Legion Fair in Edensburg on Sept. 5-11, 2021. Volunteers are needed to staff the booth. Contact Ann Poole at prolifecambriasomerset@gmail.com. People for Life of Erie will sponsor their eighth annual Life Run 5K/10K & Fun Walk on Saturday, October 9. Registration is $15 for ages 7-15 and $25 for ages over 15. For more information, click here. Cambria-Somerset Citizens Concerned for Human Life will host a Pro-Life Prayer Breakfast at New Germany Immaculate Conception Hall on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 9 am to 12 noon. The Keynote speaker this year will be Steve Deace, well-known conservative Talk Radio host and author. As an almost aborted baby, Steve has become a very strong supporter and defender of Pro-Life at every opportunity. Michael Ciccocioppo, Executive Director, PA Pro-Life Federation, will serve as the emcee. Registration information coming soon.
