I was pleasantly surprised recently when my hometown newspaper printed my letter to the editor about the all-important Hyde Amendment, which bars federal taxpayer funding of abortion, except in rare circumstances. Even a news publication with a pro-abortion editorial stance on occasion can be willing to air a grievance against hard-earned tax dollars being funneled to the abortion industry. Volunteers are needed to staff the booth. As an almost aborted baby, Steve has become a very strong supporter and defender of Pro-Life at every opportunity.
