Glasgow, Scotland
In
spite of a buffer zone that keeps 40 Days for Life participants 200
meters from the abortion-providing Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Glasgow
40 Days for Life campaign is thriving!
"Everyone
is in good spirits despite the rain," reported Stuart, who leads the
campaign. "We are seeing and experiencing more visual support from the
cars that stop at the traffic lights. More waves and horns blowing sounds of support as the public begins to wake up."
It's not uncommon to see communities warm up to 40 Days for Life volunteers over time, as they realize the vigils truly are peaceful and prayerful.
"That
is why it is so important to be a witness to life...to make people stop
and think about their own responsibilities in order to bring about a
change!" Stuart added.
