The early pioneers of the birth control pill knew that contraception can end the lives of unborn children before women even know they are pregnant.
They also knew that if the public became aware of this troubling fact, birth control would never catch on...
...so they redefined both conception and pregnancy to get the public to accept contraception.
On this week's episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast, we reveal why many women are horrified to find out they've been lied to about the Pill:

Everett, Washington
Vigil participants in Western Washington encountered a woman who didn't speak English.
"So we started calling our Spanish-speaking contacts," Judith explained.
They reached one, who determined that the woman was looking for STD testing. The Spanish-speaker communicated that the woman shouldn't patronize Planned Parenthood...
...and the woman agreed!
"We got a turnaround," Judith announced. "We offered our free alternative services."
The woman accepted the offer and scheduled an appointment at a nearby pregnancy center!

Toledo, Ohio
The
Toledo, Ohio, 40 Days for Life team held a prayer rally that featured
praise and worship music followed by a powerful talk from a former
abortion worker.
"Caroline Strzesynski gave a beautiful witness," reported Brynna. "She
told her story of how she went from working at Planned Parenthood and
the Center for Choice to becoming a midwife and a NaPro advocate."
Praise
God for her conversion and for Caroline's willingness to share her
testimony to help bring about more conversions--all while helping to
protect moms and babies from abortion!

--Mark 4:38
Dear
Lord, I know that you are always with me and that you work all things
for good. When the truth of your perpetual presence is difficult to
grasp, give me the grace to remember that you are a good and gracious
father in every circumstance. Help us to speak this truth to those
around us. In a special way, we ask you to wrap mothers who feel
abandoned in your mantle. Amen.
