What would you say if I told you that according to the most recent polls:
...nearly 60% of Americans oppose the HHS mandate
...a healthy majority of women (53-38) support an exemption for religious groups...
...and that this poll was conducted by CBS and the New York Times?
Surprised? Shocked? Well, it's the truth. Check it out yourself here. http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2012/03/13/us/politics/president-obamas-approval-rating-drops.html?ref=politics
President Obama and his anti-Catholic allies have been screaming “war on women” for weeks. The National Organization for Women has viciously accused our bishops of being “violently anti-women,” while Planned Parenthood lies and attacks us at every turn.

Emboldened, atheist hate groups even ran a full-page ad last Friday urging readers to "Quit the Catholic Church."
But guess what? It's not working.
With the full support of the media, pro-abortion groups mobilized over the Rush Limbaugh and Sandra Fluke controversy. Hundreds of thousands of Americans received robocalls from the “Women of the 99%” attacking pro-life members of Congress up for re-election in the fall. Even some Republicans on Capitol Hill were running scared fearing they were getting destroyed in a public relations disaster.
They hoped to distract us, and change the debate.
But we have stood strong together. Our Bishops have not backed down. And our prayers seem to be working.
The American people are seeing through the lies.
The explosive CBS/New York Times poll revealed that 57% of all Americans believe religious employers like hospitals or schools should be “allowed to opt out” of President Obama's HHS mandate. Even women by a 53-38 margin agree. A slim majority of 51% also favor providing businesses with the same exemption.
And get this? Since the announcement of the so-called "accommodation," President Obama's support among women has dropped by 12%!
This fight is far from over. And we're not celebrating yet.
In fact, we're doing just the opposite. We're stepping on the gas. We are working on more web and radio ads targeting key Senators, and plan to share some more exciting news with you later this week.
But for now, you deserve to know the truth. Tell your legislator. Tell your neighbors, pastor and bishop.
We are winning.
Sincerely,
Brian Burch, President
