The Daily Death Count that Goes Unreported
By Bonnie Finnerty, Education Director
Out of sight is out of mind. When we can’t see something, or perceive it by some other sense, we can forget that it exists. That is not the case with Covid-19. Each day we hear about rates of infection and lives lost. Heart-wrenching stories broadcast by news outlets and shared on social media put a human face on the pandemic. Legislative Alert!
No abortion center inspection reports have been posted on the Pennsylvania Health Department website since early February. Is the Health Department failing to inspect abortion facilities because of the COVID-19 pandemic? Or is the Department lagging woefully behind in posting to its website inspections that have already been completed?
Please call and email your state Representative and state Senator with this urgent message: Please hold the state Health Department and Governor Tom Wolf accountable. Please tell them abortion facilities need to be inspected, and the results need to be posted on the Health Department website.
For background information, please see the National Right to Life article on the situation HERE. If you do not know who your state representative and state senator are, or you need contact information, please click HERE .
Thank you for making these important calls and sending these vital emails.

Our virtual baby at 31 weeks
Speech and language centers continue to develop. Complex neurological connections and learning will continue throughout the pregnancy and long after birth. Eva Mary moves around more, flipping upside down, rotating, and even turning her head from side to side. About 16 inches long and weighing 3 pounds, Eva is about the size of a coconut.
