Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

Twins Set World Record: Born 30 Years After They Were Frozen as Embryos - LifeNews.com

Two babies in the Pacific Northwest, whose births were facilitated by the National Embryo Donation Center (NEDC), have made history with their arrivals. Siblings Lydia Ann and Timothy Ronald, the daughter and son of Philip and Rachel Ridgeway, each spent nearly 30 years as embryos frozen in liquid nitrogen prior to being thawed earlier this year.

Maria told Live Action News that she wrote a letter to the British newspaper and shared a photo of her twins, whom she miscarried at 10 weeks, to refute its article, "What a pregnancy actually looks like before 10 weeks — in pictures.

Pennsylvanians for Human Life Hazleton Chapter is sponsoring a pro-life Christmas Card sale to benefit the chapter. Created by artist Jenn Witner, the verse inside the card was written by the student capturing first place in the chapter’s annual contest. The Christmas cards can be purchased HERE.

Prayer Breakfast in Erie

On January 14, 2023, the Erie pro-life community will gather at the Erie Bayfront Convention Center for People for Life’s 45th Annual Pro-Life Breakfast. International pro-life speaker, Patricia Sandoval, is the keynoter. Doors open at 8 a.m. The program begins at 9 a.m. and concludes by 11:30 a.m. Complimentary child care will be available. Online reservations will be available soon, but it is not too early to make reservations through the mail. Send $22 per seat with your name, address, and phone number to People for Life; P.O. An example of the traditional magisterial teaching which indicates that it is never morally licit to intentionally kill a child through abortion in order to “save the life of its mother” comes from the teaching of Pope Pius XII:

“Every human being, even the infant in the mother's womb, has the right to life immediately from God, not from the parent or any human society or authority. Therefore, there is no man, no human authority, no science, no medical, eugenic, social, economic or moral ‘indication’ that can show or give valid juridical title for direct deliberate disposition concerning an innocent human life-which is to say, a disposition that aims at its destruction either as an end in itself or as the means of attaining another end that is perhaps in no way illicit itself. Thus, for example, to save the life of the mother is a most noble end, but the direct killing of the child as a means to this end is not licit.”
