| Planned Parenthood emboldened by election results By Rita Diller Planned Parenthood posted a new banner [pictured right] following Tuesday night's Obama victory. Obama is pictured victorious and waving to a cheering crowd. As the avowed enemy of Christ's Church takes his place on the throne of Baal, we weep. Persecution like the Church in America has never known is coming. Planned Parenthood played a central role in Obama's first presidential term and in the framing of Obamacare, and dominated this presidential campaign. These are the days that Christ prophesied on his way to Calvary, when people will say, "Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed." At that time people will say to the mountains, "Fall upon us!" and to the hills, "Cover us! for if these things are done when the wood is green what will happen when it is dry?" I truly believe if the people who elected Obama to another term had an inkling about what they have done, they would ask the mountains to fall on them and the hills to cover them.

HEADLINES | | Wednesday STOPP Report "There's tons of ways that people define 'slut.' Most, though, are f'd up." That's the lead in for an MTV video targeting teens and tweens on Planned Parenthood's Info for Teens Facebook page. This denigrating instructional video takes place in a classroom setting and encourages young girls to become promiscuous and emphasizes that others should respect them because, as sluts, they are "confident in their sexuality." Attempting to convince students that anyone who judges someone because they are sexually promiscuous is bad, this "Sextra Credit" video portrays being a slut as a very desirable thing. However, since some might take offense at the word, Francisco [the "teacher"] says, "Be careful when you throw a word like 'slut' around. It should only be used for good." |
| Businessweek Planned Parenthood is asking a Texas judge to extend an order blocking the state from cutting funding to its clinics because the organization provides abortion services. Texas officials were blocked by an Oct. 26 temporary restraining order issued by Judge Amy Clark Meachum in Austin from eliminating public funds for the 49 Planned Parenthood clinics in the state that don't provide abortions. The state ban will cost Planned Parenthood about $13 million a year in government reimbursements, force it to close some health centers, and interfere with health care for low-income women, the group said in court filings. At today's hearing, Planned Parenthood seeks a temporary injunction extending Meachum's order blocking that regulation. |
| CBN News Conservatives and business groups often complain about the government's growing numbers of regulations. Now CBN News has learned that government officials are using lawsuits to go after American citizens. One target can be found outside abortion clinics. For decades, pro-life protestors have lined up outside abortion clinics, trying to convince women to save the lives of their unborn children. A variety of laws have put restrictions on these protests. A major one is the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, or FACE. Convicted protestors can face thousands of dollars in fines as well as jail time. Just the legal costs can exceed $100,000. The Feds have steadily stepped up the number of cases these last few years. Some consider this a blatant case of federal overreach. | |
