Early Voting Numbers Showing Good Signs for Romney Campaign
Various early voting numbers in key swing states that will ultimately decide the election are showing good results for the campaign of Mitt Romney as he hopes to defeat pro-abortion President Barack Obama.
Ohio, the make of break state in the election, looks good from the Romney perspective, as one reported tweeted this morning: Overall, early vote turnout OH up 2.44% in state. Down -4.1% in Obama/Kerry counties; up 14.39% in Bush/McCain counties. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/early-voting-numbers-showing-good-signs-for-romney-campaign/
Dems Shred GOP Voter Registrations, Obama Mural at Polling Venue
Election Day is underway nationwide and reports are already coming in of liberal, Democrats and their antics as they try to salvage the election for President Barack Obama.
In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, they went as far as shredding GOP voter registrations: The Community Voters Project is a non-partisan lefty organization whose mission is to register people to vote, with a particular emphasis on minorities. In the 2008 election, they had offices in 10 states and registered around 300,000 minority voters. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/dems-shred-gop-voter-registrations-obama-mural-at-polling-venue/
Mitt, Ann Romney Vote in Massachusetts Before Final Campaigning
Mitt and Ann Romney cast their ballots this morning before making final campaign stops today in crucial states necessary to beat President Barack Obama. The Romneys cast their votes Tuesday morning in Belmont, Massachusetts, their hometown.
Paul and Janna Ryan, the pro-life vice presidential running mate and his wife, voted this morning ear their home in Janesville, Wisconsin (see video below). http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/mitt-ann-romney-vote-in-massachusetts-before-final-campaigning/
Church Leaves Abortion-Cross Display in Front of Polling Place
Boulder County voters whose polling place is Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church on South Boulder Road can expect to walk past an anti-abortion display including thousands of crosses representing aborted fetuses when they go to cast their ballots Tuesday.
County election officials said the display does not appear to violate any rules for polling places, but they will allow voters assigned to Sacred Heart of Mary to vote elsewhere Tuesday and the county will no longer use the church as a polling place in future elections. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/church-leaves-abortion-cross-display-in-front-of-polling-place/
Obama Makes One Last Pitch for Planned Parenthood Funding
On the eve of the election, campaigning in Wisconsin, President Barack Obama made one last pitch for taxpayer funding for the Planned Parenthood abortion business.
If the price of peace in Washington is cutting deals to get rid of funding to Planned Parenthood, I won t pay that price, Obama said. That s not a deal I ll take. That s not bipartisanship. That s not change. That s surrender. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/obama-makes-one-last-pitch-for-planned-parenthood-funding/
Pregnant Mom Votes for Pro-Abortion Obama as She Starts Labor
A pregnant mom went into labor at her polling venue as she was casting her ballot for pro-abortion President Barack Obama, who is regarded as the biggest presidential advocate of abortion since Roe v. Wade.
Galicia Malone was so interested in voting for Obama that she took deep breaths to ignore the labor pains to cast her ballot for the president who worked overtime to ensure the biggest abortion business in the nation could continue receiving hundreds of millions in taxpayer funds. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/pregnant-mom-votes-for-pro-abortion-obama-as-she-starts-labor/
Planned Parenthood Prez Spends Election Day Campaigning for Obama
The president of the Planned Parenthood abortion business is spending Election Day today campaigning for President Barack Obama. Cecile Richards tweeted today that she was working to turn out voters for Obama in Virginia.
Spending this election day in Richmond, VA going door to door to get out the vote. Have you voted yet? #VoteObama, Richards said. She provided a photo of her knocking on a voter s door. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/planned-parenthood-prez-spends-election-day-campaigning-for-obama/
Five Things About Obama s Pro-Abortion Record Before You Vote
On this fundamental issue [abortion], I will not yield, and Planned Parenthood will not yield. -President Barack Obama. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/five-things-about-obamas-pro-abortion-record-before-you-vote/
Pro-Life Groups Expect Massive Turnout of Evangelical Voters
With the 2012 presidential election revolving around major abortion policies for pro-life voters, two leading pro-life groups expect a massive turnout of evangelical voters at the polls today. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/pro-life-groups-expect-massive-turnout-of-evangelical-voters/
Obama s War on Women Rhetoric Backfires Heading Into Election
Women are a central, indispensible part of the Democratic base single women, that is, and particularly those being churned out of women s studies programs at colleges and universities all across the country. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/obamas-war-on-women-rhetoric-backfires-heading-into-election/
Judge Resumes Hearing to Force Abortion on Mentally Disabled Woman
A Reno judge is scheduled to resume deliberations today in a case that could have him forcing a mentally disabled woman to have an abortion, despite her legal guardians request to allow her to carry the pregnancy to term. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/judge-resumes-hearing-to-force-abortion-on-mentally-disabled-woman/
Abortion Has Destroyed 117 Million People in the United States
There have been more than 55 million abortions in the United States since the Roe v. Wade decision in 1973. The figure, while staggering, doesn t really do justice to the total number of people directly killed from abortion in the United States or missing as a result. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/abortion-has-destroyed-117-million-people-in-the-united-states/
Pro-Life Voters Motivated to Stop Obama s Abortion Agenda
Everyone knows the presidential election will hinge on the economy. But I think abortion will also be on many voters minds. That s because the candidates are presenting voters with sharply contrasting agendas on the defining civil rights issue of our time. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/pro-life-voters-motivated-to-stop-obamas-abrotion-agenda/
Grief: The Silent Burden of a Post-Abortive Woman
I am defined, in some part at least, by the death of my extremely premature sons. My life changed during those days, waiting for their death and praying for them to live, and nothing was the same afterwards. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/grief-the-silent-burden-of-a-post-abortive-woman/
No Research Shows More Welfare Spending Stops Abortions
Last Monday, David Frum wrote an essay for CNN.com titled Let s Get Real About Abortions. Frum chides pro-lifers for placing too much emphasis on legally restricting abortion while neglecting the material needs of women facing crisis pregnancies. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/no-research-shows-more-welfare-spending-stops-abortions/
One in Four Deaths in UK is a Baby Killed in Abortion
Last month I posted a blog titled 27% of all human deaths in England and Wales are due to abortion . http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/one-in-four-deaths-in-uk-is-a-baby-killed-in-abortion/
European Court of Human Rights Trying to Create Right to Abortion
While for many years the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has simply failed to protect unborn children against being murdered (the lead case here is the ignominious Vo v. France decision of 2004, where the Court explicitly recognised that the embryo belongs to the human race , but at the same expressed doubts as to whether it qualified as a person ) it is now trying to fabricate a Right to Abortion . http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/european-court-of-human-rights-trying-to-create-right-to-abortion/
Blog About Pro-Life Student Leader Becoming Pro-Abortion is Wrong
Blogger Libby Anne s piece, How I Lost Faith in the Pro-Life Movement, is in the process of going viral on Facebook. You re going to see a lot of debunking of this piece from pro-lifers, here on Live Action and elsewhere, since it is full of logical fallacies and links to evidence that does not support Libby Anne s claims. But the thing that bothered me most in this somewhat lengthy piece (besides the sub-heading Barack Obama: Pro-Life Hero, which made me do a spit-take) can first be found in the intro. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/blog-about-pro-life-student-leader-becoming-pro-abortion-is-wrong/
