Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

Pro-Life Leader Says Newspaper Misleads Catholic Voters on Pro-Abortion Pols

Trenton, NJ (LifeNews.com) -- A pro-life Catholic leader says a New Jersey newspaper is misleading Catholic voters on the importantance of not supporting candidates who back abortion. The Trenton Times claims single issue voting based on abortion is passe this election cycle and quotes a priest who misleads its readers.

"If you think you know how the Catholic Church in the United States wants its members to vote in the presidential election this year, think again," the Times proclaims in a Wednesday article.

"Single-issue voting, like simply choosing the anti-abortion candidate, is out," it contends.
