Roe v. Wade in Photos
Two Events in San Diego
Dear Pro-life friends,
The Bishop’s Mass for the protection of the unborn on the vigil of Roe v. Wade (Jan. 21) was well attended, filling Our Lady of the Rosary church, despite a major storm. The rain stopped in downtown before the Mass began, and the weather stayed clear through the end of the reception. I understand many people from East County could not attend because of flooded streets out there. Many thanks to all of you who were able to make it.
Dear Pro-life friends,
The wind blew hard in downtown San Diego on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade (Jan. 22), but the rain stopped just before we started, and stayed clear till a half hour after we stopped, then it poured buckets and hailed. I think someone up there was giving us a well-timed break. We had about 70 brave pro-lifers come out to give a public witness. The candles were useless in the howling wind, so we used white crosses instead to represent the innocent unborn who have had their lives taken by abortion. Everyone prayed Rosaries, and I believe it had some part in the three saves we had at Family Planning Associates the next morning.
