The Great Absolution of Racist Reid The United States Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, has recently been exposed as having made some rather viciously racist comments. Poor guy; he got caught so red-handed that he didn't fall back on what he was taught to do in Liberal Politics 101: deny, deny, deny, at least until the news cycle runs its course. Rather, like a good spin-meister, he went on the attack as soon as possible to control the damage and explain exactly how it was that he could say that the first black Presidential candidate in our history had greater electability because he was "light skinned" and spoke "with no Negro dialect." He even rubbed salt in the wound when he indicated that Obama could turn on that "Negro dialect" whenever it suited his demagogic purposes. These comments should make any decent person shudder, but such are the sins of a liberal in thought, word and deed. However, Harry has been ever-mercifully pardoned by the Almighty - President, that is. Mr. Obama, in a fit of largesse not shown to the white Cambridge, Massachusetts cop who was just doing his duty a few months ago, exclaimed wholeheartedly, "I accepted Harry's apology without question because I've known him for years, I've seen the passionate leadership he's shown on issues of social justice and I know what's in his heart. As far as I am concerned, the book is closed." Ah, such unmerited clemency! Harry is off the hook! Yet, one might wonder what it is about Harry Reid that is so important to Obama that he forgives him so readily and without question. I don't wonder at all; history has taught us that baby killers stick together - their common bond as guardians of the "sacrament of abortion" can withstand any challenge and remain intact. Americans have learned that all things can be excused if a person in power protects the sacrosanct "right" to abort. Let's look at examples: Philanderer-in-chief, Bill Clinton, was given absolution by the high priestesses of Radical Feminism when Monica was serving in his office; adultery is eminently pardonable to such an abortion stalwart like Bill. Despite the utter humiliation of his wife - one of their own - Bill was pardoned because of his commitment to the cause. Congressman Barney Frank's homosexual lover was running a male prostitution ring out of Frank's home but Barney was not even slapped on the wrist due to his extreme abortion position - among other things. And how unfortunate for old Mark Sanford. If he had only been an abortion advocate he might have found some forgiveness from on high for his little Argentinean peccadillo. He just wasn't singing in the right choir. Now comes racist, Harry Reid, the robust denier of all attempts to put an anti-abortion amendment in the Senate healthcare bill and - voilá - he is absolved of his congenital racism with a wink and a nod and hardly a second thought from the Establishment in charge of running the world. The only burden they have now is the delicate job of defending Harry and his unfortunate "choice" of words from the ones who truly recognize the evil he advocates and are not willing to commute his sentence. In all seriousness, I can't think of a single example in modern political life that has so perfectly shown the deadly hypocrisy of the liberal establishment than the way in which the insane media and those in the present power structure are handling this Racist Reid incident. Any person of values who may have made such a scurrilous set of remarks would have been lynched, if you will pardon the analogy, and his career, family and personal life utterly shredded with passionate ferocity by the sentinels of abortion. There is no mercy for men and women of traditional values, lovers of life and family. We don't worship the right god. But Racist Reid does, and of course, all is forgiven.... Sincerely, Rev. Thomas J. Euteneuer, President, Human Life International |

Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.
