It
has been a very busy couple of months, with short stops at HLI HQ in
Front Royal between mission trips to Eastern Europe, the Philippines,
then Rome, and next a short stop back home in Louisiana before another
trip next week.
I thank God for the strength He gives me, and
for the strength he gives our affiliates and partners around the world,
to keep going. Indeed, our friends in the field lift me up as well with
their energy and joy in spreading the Gospel of Life!
One thing I
was not given this week, though, was the time to write Spirit &
Life! So instead I will share with you two videos we posted on our web
site this week: one an interview that Dr. Joseph Meaney did with EWTN on
the Rome March for Life, the other a short speech I gave recently at
the national convention for Trail Life USA. The Trailmen offer a great
option for Catholics and other Christians who are fed up with the turn
the Boy Scouts have taken in recent years, and who want Christian virtue
to be woven into all activities that these young men pursue.
We
have to take every possible opportunity to fight for authentic culture
-- a culture of life and love. These are just a couple of examples of
what HLI's missionaries are constant doing around the world.
