Just a few years ago, JC Carpenter was homeless. After spending years numbing the pain of her three abortions with drugs and alcohol, she found herself living in an alley. JC had hit rock bottom...but God wasn't done with her yet.

Grand Rapids, Michigan Nobody can convey the pain and horror of abortion like a woman who's been through it. This post-abortive mother made a powerful sign to start conversations with abortion-bound women in Grand Rapids.

Green Bay, Wisconsin When a homeless veteran approached the 40 Days for Life vigil asking how to find a city bus that would get him to a local shelter, campaign participants decided to offer more than directions. "This gentleman needed to use a walker, and it was a cold, windy, rainy night," wrote Christine in Green Bay. An on-site prayer warrior treated him to a meal at a local restaurant and then drove him personally to the shelter. "I saw Jesus Christ today in my [vigil participant] but also in that homeless gentleman," Christine said.
