Fort Pierce, Florida
Vigil participants are already on-site praying by 5:00 a.m. when women begin arriving to their abortion appointments in Fort Pierce.
The abortion provider doesn't arrive until 7:00. Fortunately, that left one abortion client enough time to change her mind.
"We offered her a gift bag, free ultrasound, and help with her pregnancy--whatever she needs," wrote Laurie, who co-leads the campaign. "She accepted the gift bag and explained that she is expecting TWINS and decided that she could not go through with the abortion."
When vigil participants reiterated that support is available to help the young mom raise her babies, she responded, "I know. I am adopted."
"Thank God for her courage protecting the lives of her two babies," Laurie said. "Please pray that God will bless her with a healthy delivery in March."
