40 Days For Life: DAY 24: Abortion Reversal

 

 

The first time I heard the term "abortion reversal," I thought it was too good to be true and was skeptical. Now, thank God, it is a common victory for unborn babies. The abortion industry is shifting its focus toward abortion pills, which provide higher profit margins than surgical abortions. That's dangerous news for abortion-vulnerable moms and babies... ...but there is reason for hope: Pro-life doctors around the world are reversing pill-induced abortions with an innovative treatment that's saved thousands of lives.

One of those doctors is Philadelphia 40 Days for Life leader and board member Dr. Monique Ruberu. Yesterday, a precious baby girl celebrated her one-month birthday--thanks to Dr. Ruberu's intervention. "A scared young girl took an abortion pill," Dr. Ruberu explained. "She later regretted this choice."

Dr. Ruberu met the young woman at her office and administered the abortion pill reversal treatment in the middle of the night! England A couple in England drove a 300-mile round trip to get an abortion in Bournemouth. But after receiving a leaflet from Bournemouth 40 Days for Life participants, they were connected to Birmingham's campaign leader, Isabel. Isabel then put the couple in touch with a doctor who gave her the abortion reversal pill. Mother and baby are both doing well. "God is showing us how far our prayers can reach," reported Isabel. "Even though this couple drove a seven-hour round trip to get an abortion, they couldn't escape the hand of God. It was lovely to hear them say how they felt God had caused these interventions to ensure their child lived."

Upland, California A local pregnancy help center has enlisted 40 Days for Life volunteers in Upland to provide prayer support as they strive to reverse abortions. "We are currently praying for two pill reversals that are under way," wrote Andrea, the local campaign leader. "We were notified by our local pregnancy center."
