Waukegan, Illinois Wisconsin has been abortion-free for more than four months. But the Planned Parenthood just across the border in Waukegan, Illinois, is targeting Wisconsin families. At a recent 40 Days for Life rally, Brenda explained how her abortionist never spoke to her or even looked her in the eye. After the abortion, she went from a top student to a dropout. "I thought I would be OK but I wasn't," she remembered. Brenda was so sickened by her abortion experience that she threw up in the parking lot after it was over--and couldn't bring herself to go back for the follow-up appointment. "I was a monster," shared her husband, Deacon Marcelino. "I let Satan get in when I should have stood and fought. I took the easy way out...when I said I'd support her choice." While the couple wasn't blessed with any other children, their powerful testimony helps others avoid making the same mistake.
