A New York Catholic church became the latest target of a growing crime wave last weekend when a man wearing priest’s vestments tore down a large crucifix on a shrine to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
Police and witnesses at Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church in Manhattan said the man was not wearing pants and appeared to be “unhinged,” according to the Catholic News Agency.
