NY Abortionists Kill Girls as Young as 13, but Democratic Gov Cracks Down on Pro-Life Centers

As the state's leaders crack down on pro-life pregnancy resource centers, New York Democrats fund abortionists who have killed dozens of women. At least 38 women and girls, as young as 13, have lost their lives during “safe and legal” abortions carried out by the state’s private abortionists, according to a private research report furnished to The Washington Stand.

Jackson Amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act would prevent taxpayer funds from being used to pay for abortion travel

Pro-abortion Democrats seethed with anger when on Thursday House pro-life Republicans passed the Jackson Amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act. The amendment offered by Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) was a corrective to a change instituted last year by the pro-abortion Biden Administration.

Four recent events related to abortion

In June, the pro-life movement celebrated the one-year anniversary of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, the Supreme Court ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade. But in the wake of that significant victory, the fight to protect preborn life and care for vulnerable mothers has continued at the state and federal level.

No, It's a Human Baby

On April 18, a couple in Flint were taking a nightly walk in the cold spring air. They were walking down a wide city road, just off I-69. On one side of the street, a McDonald's. On the other side, a child care facility.

Suddenly, the wife began freaking out. She told her husband to come over and look at what she found. At first, the husband thought it was something else, but then it became undeniably clear to him: “And then I said, it’s just a bird, and she said, no, it’s a human baby.”

Pro-abortion state expected non-resident abortions to increase. They didn't.

A 2022 amendment made it the first state to claim abortion as a constitutional right, and clinics thought women would be flocking there.

But the number of women traveling to Vermont for an abortion over the last year actually declined from the year prior. “It’s been just over a few weeks and we’ve already seen the harm caused by the U.S. Supreme Court Decision,” said Eileen Sullivan of Planned Parenthood.

LIFE IS SACRED

An example of the traditional magisterial teaching which indicates that it is never morally licit to intentionally kill a child through abortion in order to “save the life of its mother” comes from the teaching of Pope Pius XII:

“Every human being, even the infant in the mother's womb, has the right to life immediately from God, not from the parent or any human society or authority. Therefore, there is no man, no human authority, no science, no medical, eugenic, social, economic or moral ‘indication’ that can show or give valid juridical title for direct deliberate disposition concerning an innocent human life-which is to say, a disposition that aims at its destruction either as an end in itself or as the means of attaining another end that is perhaps in no way illicit itself. Thus, for example, to save the life of the mother is a most noble end, but the direct killing of the child as a means to this end is not licit.”
