Waterbury, Connecticut This fall marks the first-ever 40 Days for Life vigil in Waterbury--and it's already saved a mom and baby from abortion! An expectant mother broke down in tears at the sight of vigil participants praying for her. "She is three weeks pregnant and had an appointment for abortion," reported Kathy, the local leader. "We told her how precious she and her baby are." The woman explained that she lives a hard life and feels alone. But Kathy and her team shared God's love--and promised to be there for her. They made good on that promise by taking the young mother to the local pregnancy help center. "She [said] she doesn't want the abortion, and seeing us outside the Planned Parenthood made her stop and be honest about that," Kathy added.

Bronx, New York "Praise the Lord, we had our midway rally at the abortion facility today," said Thomas in the Bronx. "Two different women said they did not abort their babies when I approached to offer [help] as they left the facility." The banner day left Thomas in a festive mood. "This is one of the best days I've ever seen at this site, thanks be to God!" he exclaimed.
