40 Days For Life: DAY 29: Organ Harvesting

It's been more than seven years since David Daleiden exposed Planned Parenthood for trafficking organs harvested from aborted babies.

The abortion giant still hasn't been held accountable.

Perhaps that's why 40 Days for Life participants in Pittsburgh observed organ retrieval personnel at the Planned Parenthood abortion facility where they stand vigil.

"The University of Pittsburgh is a hub for fetal tissue experimentation," wrote Nikki, the 2021 40 Days for Life leader of the year. "It sure is upsetting."

Katie in Pittsburgh watched the scene unfold during her time in prayer.

"A man...picked up several plastic bags...and dropped one on the ground," she recalled. "He then put them in a cooler in his car and drove away."

Experimenting on the remains of children killed by abortion is a crime against humanity...

...but the even greater crime is that these children are killed in the first place. Thankfully, the no-show rate for abortion appointments goes as high as 75% when you join your local 40 Days for Life vigil!

Unfortunately, the organ retrieval unit isn't the only disturbing vehicle found at a 40 Days for Life vigil this fall. Here are a few more:

Yuba City, California

Robert in Yuba City witnessed an ambulance arrive at Planned Parenthood during his vigil shift.

"We could see the EMTs pushing a gurney," Robert reported. "About the same time, a fire engine with siren and emergency lights arrived."

While it is heartbreaking to witness an ambulance appear, perhaps yet another truck observed at Planned Parenthood explains why the carnage is allowed to continue.

"Also yesterday, the Brinks [armored] truck showed up," reported JC, the local campaign co-leader.

Sacramento, California

Every Monday, an unmarked van comes to the abortion facility in Sacramento.

While the vehicle bears no insignia, its purpose becomes clear when the driver enters the abortion center with a large red "biohazardous waste" barrel.

The children hauled away in the barrel weren't saved from abortion--but the presence of 40 Days for Life participants on site praying for them means that they were loved in their all-too-short lives on this earth.

Tallahassee, Florida

Prayer warriors in the Sunshine State's capital were getting ready to call it a day when an ambulance pulled into Planned Parenthood's parking lot.

"Ask everybody to pray for the woman who was picked up," pleaded David, the local 40 Days for Life leader.

David knows a thing or two about the dangers of abortion. "As a surgical nurse with 30 years of experience, I saw the life-threatening complications caused by abortion."

Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgressions of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us; and will subdue our iniquities.

--Micah 7:18-19

Hear our prayer of repentance, Lord, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We praise you for your tender mercies and your compassion that never fails. Lord, it is only by Your grace that we can live lives that are just, and merciful.

May Your Holy Spirit enable us to walk humbly in Your presence and may You be pleased to restore our nation so that a generation not yet born may praise you.
