Black Pro-life Activists to Picket Pizza Hut in North Carolina

FAYETTEVILLE, NC, Jan. 15 /Christian Newswire/ -- On Saturday, January 16, 2010, black activists will be standing outside of a Pizza Hut on Bragg Boulevard. In October, 2008, black pro-life activists with graphic signs stood on Yadkin Road in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to expose what was believed to be a stealth Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in the making.

That year, when Pastor Johnny Hunter heard that Planned Parenthood was hiding behind the name Tharrington Medical Clinic to renovate the old Pizza Hut building on Yakin road and turn it into an abortion clinic, he became angry. Now that the building is complete, it has open as a Planned Parenthood facility. Nevertheless, it did not go unnoticed that Pizza Hut sold Planned Parenthood the building.

On the website for Planned Parenthood Central North Carolina, the Fayetteville facility is featured as a brand new state of the art health center. They also acknowledge that Planned Parenthood has received money anonymously from a very generous national foundation to provide abortions for low-income women. This came as no surprise to national black pro-life leaders since Planned Parenthood staff has been taped in several states accepting monies particularly to abort black babies.

According to Pastor Hunter, "Although Pizza Hut likes to promote themselves as 'kid friendly,' for every child aborted by Planned Parenthood, that is one less child that will ever have a pizza." Therefore, blacks from Raleigh and Durham will be joining Pastor Hunter in front of the Pizza Hut located at 3510 Bragg Boulevard in Fayetteville, North Carolina, at 12 noon on Saturday.

Pastor Bobby Fulmore, who has often prayed in front of a local abortion site, is also concerned. He agrees with Pastor Hunter that those who want to know the racist agenda behind population control organizations like Planned Parenthood since the days of slavery, should see the documentary movie "Maafa 21 -- Black Genocide in 21st Century America." After seeing this film, there is also concern that the natural disaster in Haiti may provide an open door for Planned Parenthood to limit the black population there.

Dr. Hunter and Pastor Fulmore will be available on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 12 Noon in front of the Pizza Hut at 3510 Bragg Boulevard to make press statements for the media and internet blogs.
