A proposed Constitutional amendment that would prohibit taxpayer funding for abortions, will be discussed in the Judiciary Committee. That committee also takes up a proposed amendment giving the Senate confirmation authority over Supreme Court justices, whose rules could be repealed by general law over yet another bill in that committee.
