Obama Admin Finalizes Rules: $1 Abortions in ObamaCare
It s official. The concern pro-life organizations had about the ObamaCare legislation funding abortions has been confirmed, as the Obama administration has issued the final rules on abortion funding governing the controversial health care law.
Nestled within the individual mandate in the Obamacare act that portion of the Act requiring every American to purchase government approved insurance or pay a penalty is an abortion premium mandate. This mandate requires all persons enrolled in insurance plans that include elective abortion coverage to pay a separate premium from their own pockets to fund abortion. As a result, many pro-life Americans will have to decide between a plan that violates their consciences by funding abortion, or a plan that may not meet their health needs.

Abby Johnson Sues Planned Parenthood, Claims $6M in Fraud
Former Planned Parenthood abortion facility director Abby Johnson has filed a whistleblower lawsuit against the abortion business claiming its Texas affiliate knowingly sent in about $6 million in false claims to Medicaid and covered up its actions.
The federal whistleblower lawsuit was unsealed on Friday and alleges that Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast submitted more than 87,000 reimbursement claims for services that were false, fraudulent, and/or ineligible. The Alliance Defense Fund filed the lawsuit for Johnson, also a LifeNews blogger, in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston.
The formerly sealed federal whistleblower suit against Planned Parenthood was made public Friday and was filed in 2009 by the Alliance Defense Fund on behalf of Johnson.

Obama Cuts Women s Health Program After Planned Parenthood Dropped
The Obama administration made it official on Friday by following through on its threat to cease providing funding for a women s health program in Texas that serves low-income women because the state passed a law saying the program can t fund abortion businesses.
The state banned Planned Parenthood from participating in the program along with any other agencies that do abortions. In response, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius traveled to Houston to make the announcement that the Obama administration would cut funding of the program and would no longer continue the waiver that Texas had previously been given to continue funding of the program temporarily.
The Obama administration claims banning Planned Parenthood violates the rules governing Medicaid while Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Texas officials disagree and maintain rules for Medicaid allow states the right to determine the qualifications necessary for those agencies allowed to participate in the program, which serves approximately 130,000 low-income women in Texas and provides cancer screenings, family planning and other health services to women. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/03/12/obama-cuts-womens-health-program-after-planned-parenthood-dropped/
Obama Admin Arranging Abortions for Illegal Immigrants
The Obama administration is arranging abortions at taxpayer expense for illegal immigrations who are detained by customs officials, according to a recent report from CNS News.
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the division the Department of Homeland Security responsible for enforcing the nation s immigration laws, is the agency that is paying for some abortions at taxpayer expense and arranging for the abortions for the illegal immigrants. As CNS reports:
The ICE detention operations manual also says that illegal alien detainees who are pregnant will be provided with help not just for an impending delivery but also in obtaining an abortion .

Poll: Obama Does Worse With Women After Mandate Battle
If you read the media coverage of the great debate over the new Obama HHS mandate that requires religious employers to purchase birth control and drugs that can cause abortions for their employees, you d think the issue was a boon for Obama s ratings.
However, new polling data shows that s not the case, as the newest Washington Post/ABC poll reveals. According to John McCormack of the Weekly Standard:
During the first few days of February, about a week before Obama declared a so-called accommodation to the contraception/abortifacient mandate, a Washington Post/ABC poll showed Obama s approval rating at 50 percent, with 46 percent of Americans disapproving.
Then, from March 7 to 10 a week into the national media firestorm surrounding Rush Limbaugh s degrading remarks about Georgetown Law student and liberal activist Sandra Fluke Washington Post/ABC conducted another poll. Pro-Abortion Doonesbury Cartoon Calls Ultrasound Rape
Doonesbury cartoonist Garry Trudeau is under fire from conservatives again, this time because he is running a cartoon that some newspaper already plan not to run because it compares ultrasound to rape.
