Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

It is called "The Right to Live", a worldwide mass campaign aiming to inform about the reality of abortion in Spain.

On September 4, 2008 the Spanish Minister of Equality, Bibiana Aído, announced a law for freedom of abortion, a law that may be approved in 2009.
If the law is passed, abortion – still in force – will in practical terms disappear from the Penal Code and the number of aborted babies in Spain (currently more than 100 thousand abortions every year) will double in a matter of a few years.
According to the promoters of "the Right to Live" this would lead to 250,000 babies who will not leave their mother's womb alive and 250,000 women who will suffer the consequences of abortion.
