Dear Friends For Life, Margaret Sanger laid the groundwork for China's one child policy. No one should be shocked that a Planned Parenthood operative like Norman Fleishman would praise China's brutal one child policy of forced abortion, since Margaret Sanger herself used the same type of scare tactics used by Fleishman to enable elimination of the children of the poor in China.
You can literally feel the contempt for the poor in the words of this speech Sanger gave at Carnegie Hall in 1922:
"China, the mysterious fountainhead of art, philosophy and the deepest wisdom of the world, has been brought down by the breeding and multiplication of the worst elements of the yellow race," she said.
"Here are masses of humans who live below the level of animals. They eat, sleep, and breed in the crowded streets and sunless alleys. Go through the reeking labyrinth of one of these native Chinese cities. Go on a day when a hot sun brings out all of these wretched incurably diseased specimens of what we dignify by the name of human.
"Go through those narrow, choked streets, as I did one day last April, and you may see these wretched creatures pawing over piles of garbage and refuse. There in these quarters, the incurably diseased and leprous breed with the profligacy and thoughtlessness of flies."
Sanger goes on to say, "I recall an unforgettable, unspeakable picture I saw in the native quarters of Shanghai-the prostrate body of a leper woman, covered with rags; her naked diseased children climbing over this inert figure. Horrified by this spectacle we moved on, followed by a crowd of starving, naked children, some of them blind, all unspeakably diseased, crying in pitiful voices for coppers. Such are the results of obeying the age-old injunction to increase and multiply, carried to a literal conclusion. Such is the punishment of a herdlike obedience to blind instinct, of non-interference with the course of nature."
From Sanger, the activist, there was no mention or desire to reach out in love to help these people develop a way to support themselves, no mention from Margaret Sanger, the nurse, about getting medical supplies, food and sanitation to these poor, suffering people. Her talk was just an attempt to build animosity toward the poor whom she despised, so that she could open her Pandora's box of birth control and eliminate poverty by eliminating the children of the poor. Bigotry, plain and simple. For more, visit http://www.stopp.org/. God Bless,

(A Thought) "The majority of voters can be uninformed or biased or simply wrong. Thus, to survive, American democracy depends on people of character fighting for their beliefs in the public square – legally, ethically, and nonviolently, but forcefully and without apology. Anything less is a form of theft from the nation's health." - Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap.

ITEM #1: Sexual anarchy: The Kinsey legacy
A forceful contingent of today's society is demolishing all limits on sexuality, even pushing pedophilia and the sexualization of children. How did it come to this?

ITEM #2: Archbishop: New York Times, CNN, MSNBC can’t be trusted on abortion, faith
“These news media simply don’t provide trustworthy information about religious faith,” said Archbishop Charles Chaput. “These are secular operations focused on making a profit."

ITEM #3: Co-habitation worse for kids than divorce
A new study has found that children born to co-habitating couples fare even worse than children from divorced families, said a Catholic News Service report on the National Catholic Reporter.

ITEM #4: Aborting one twin, sparing the other, when IVF goes 'wrong'
Dr. Anthony Caruso, who performed in vitro fertilizations before his pro-life turn, isn't surprised by the recent increase in “two-minus-one” pregnancies, where women abort one of their two artificially-conceived children for personal reasons. It's a logical result, he says, of the mentality behind IVF.

ITEM #5: Euthanasia Pushes Belgium Into Abyss
The Netherlands used to be the heart of euthanasia darkness. It is still dark, but the culture of death crown has passed to Belgium, which not only legalized doctor-injected killing, but has enthusiastically embraced euthanasia’s logical corollaries. And now, we find that the number of euthanasia killings continues to rise exponentially.

ITEM #6: Closing the book on open marriage
When it comes to marriage, one of the few bright spots to emerge over the last forty years is increasing public support for sexual fidelity — in both theory and practice. Indeed, social science tells us that married couples who remain faithful to one another enjoy higher-quality marriages, lower rates of divorce, and, yes, higher levels of emotional satisfaction with their sex life. Sexual fidelity also increases the odds that children are born into and reared in a stable, two-parent home.

In 44 states, the future of gay marriage still depends on legislatures, governors and voters - and eventually, perhaps, Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy.
****************************************
ITEM #8: Too much, for too long
Writer Erica Jong, one of the flag-bearers of the sexual revolution, wonders, in the New York Times, why her daughter's generation is not interested in sex.

ITEM #9: Premarital sex? A losing proposition
I consider this book an indispensable resource. Excellent depth. Striking clarity.

ITEM #10: Chinese Gendercide: An Unqualified Wrong
The aborted girls are persons, endowed by God with the right to life. Killing them, either due to a desire for a male child or because the coercive policy of the Communist state demands it, is immoral, an offense against our Creator and our fellow human beings. To suggest that the lives of the girls who have survived this slaughter have been improved is to lend an artifice of moral justification to gross evil.

ITEM #11: 5 Reasons Contraceptives Suck
If I had to give a sixth reason it'd be this: Contraception is the single most divisive issue in the Church today. It threatens the very foundations of Catholicism because it denies the authority of the Church, saying "Yes, Peter is the rock. And yes, the Church is inspired by the Holy Spirit. And yes, Her teachings are therefore true. Except this one." Except contraception. Because this teaching is simply not practical. We are effectively saying, in our widespread acceptance of contraception, that the Holy Spirit has left the Church, or the Church never had it. Because if our Church can just "get-it-wrong", what is our Church but a human institution? And if our Church is simply a human institution, then what is the Eucharist? What is Reconciliation? What is Holy Matrimony?

ITEM #12: Largest ever study finds abortion increases risk of severe mental health problems by 81%
A new study published today in the British Journal of Psychiatry found that women who underwent an abortion experienced an 81% increased risk of mental health problems. The study also found that almost 10% of all women’s mental health problems are directly linked to abortion.
