We at Mary's Shelter are sad to announce that
we will not be holding a Christmas Soirée this year. We are sad because our hosts for the last three years, Mike and Sue Wise, are dealing with the agony of watching their son struggle for his life in the ICU. For years, Mike and Sue have been gracious hosts as well as ardent supporter of Mary's Shelter.
The Christmas Soirée simply would not be the Christmas Soirée without them.
What we would like to do instead is offer the entire Wise family a spiritual bouquet in honor of their son and brother, Matthew. We hope that each of you might offer special prayers or dedicate an act of kindness for Matthew. If you email or mail us your contributions, we will compile them into a beautifully decorated book for the Wises to share with Matthew at Christmas.
Please ask your children to share in this spiritual bouquet as well! Feel free to include your name, or keep it anonymous if you wish.
If you would like to make a monetary donation to help offset Matthew's medical expenses,
please make your check payable to Matthew Wise, and we will include it in the book.
Please submit all entries by December 1st.
