Instead of being cherished and revered, motherhood has, to some, become something to abhor and criticize. With an administration telling women that babies can be a "punishment" and with commercials touting the benefits of birth control, it's no wonder young women are growing up confused and uncertain about what it means to be a mother. If we are to change this mindset, we must teach our children to think for themselves, and we must show them how truly amazing new life is.
