Every person has a story. Every life has value.   Every human life is created by God for a specific purpose. In the chaos and noise of the culture, we often forget this beautiful truth. Our I Am Personhood series provides a glimpse into the individual lives of those in the Christian pro-life movement, as they share their stories of tragedy, triumph, and truth. In this edition, we introduce you to Brad and Jesi Smith, founders of our affiliate Personhood Michigan, bloggers at Keeping Our Faith, speakers at Save the 1, and parents of Faith, a beautiful little girl with Trisomy 18. The Smiths share their experience challenging Faith's "fatal fetal anomaly" diagnosis and tirelessly advocating for her life, both before and after birth. Sustaining Grace Three days after Scott and Diane Peterson lost their unborn daughter Grace to Trisomy 18, they launched a ministry to provide 3D/4D ultrasounds to families whose babies have a terminal diagnosis; who otherwise couldn't afford to see their children alive. "The only time we got to see Grace full of life and active was during those precious ultrasound sessions," says Scott. "Our hope is that these videos will be the sustaining grace to help other couples make it through their difficult pregnancies, just as they were for us." Dr. Monica Miller, founder of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, confirms 12 unborn children were saved from abortion on the day she and four others entered a Bloomfield, MI, abortion facility to counsel women.
