40 Days For Life: DAY 21: They Tried to Silence You

The abortion industry thought 40 Days for Life would go away after the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

It didn't happen. So pro-abortion politicians tried to stomp 40 Days for Life out by cracking down on freedom of speech. It didn't work.

The abortion industry then tried to demoralize 40 Days for Life participants with pro-abortion constitutional amendments...

...but instead, we are experiencing record demand for 40 Days for Life, as this Lenten campaign is taking place in an all-time high 660 cities worldwide!

I recently sat down with EWTN to discuss why abortion supporters have been no match for our post-Roe plan:

And then add to the record-breaking participation! Find your local vigil and sign up to pray:

It's a sure sign that your prayerful presence is impacting the abortion facility's bottom line when clinic escorts start showing up to shield women from choices other than abortion.

"Yesterday, we witnessed something we haven't seen in a few years--a Planned Parenthood escort standing by the gate," wrote Kalamazoo 40 Days for Life leader Joe.

But when a Planned Parenthood client stopped to talk with a pro-life sidewalk counselor, the escort's bizarre approach wasn't exactly welcoming.

"Don't stop, don't stop!" she shouted at the vehicle. "They don't work here."

That level of unprofessionalism isn't surprising if you've seen how the abortion industry trains its escorts. We dug into an unimpressive escort training manual on The 40 Days for Life Podcast:

Arkansas has pro-life legal protections in place, but Planned Parenthood stubbornly remains open.

However, the abortion business was closed when Joshua and his family showed up to pray one recent Saturday.

"Hopefully because of the vigil!" Joshua added.

"This family has prayed at 40 Days for Life for several years, and we have enjoyed watching their family grow!" wrote Mary, the Little Rock leader. "Perhaps [they] will be an inspiration to others to join and bring their children."

Then the boy’s father cried out, "I do believe, help my unbelief!"

--Mark 9:24

Lord, we ask that you might grant every person struggling with doubts the reassurance that you are with them. We ask that you might work in the hearts of men and women who question your existence. We pray that more people will come to believe that you are the source of all strength and the summit of all hope. And we ask you to help us to trust that through your work in our lives, we can build up a culture that recognizes the dignity of every person. Amen.

For life,
