By toppling Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court restored the right to protect unborn babies to we the people. That freedom is in jeopardy in Wisconsin, where a Planned Parenthood lawsuit before the state Supreme Court argues that the right to life and liberty guaranteed by Wisconsin's constitution actually means a right to abortion. You can't make this stuff up. The Madison 40 Days for Life team responded by launching the campaign with a day of prayer and fasting--which included a massive prayer rally that brought hundreds of pro-lifers to the state Capitol. Steve then highlighted major victories in abortion-friendly states--including a growing number of abortion facilities that have recently closed in states like Illinois, New York, and Ohio. Columbia, Missouri In November, Missouri citizens narrowly voted to take away their own right to protect abortion-vulnerable babies by enshrining a right to abortion in their state constitution. That's the bad news. The good news is that 2024 Sue Thayer Leader of the Year Award winner Kathy Forck and her team stand in Planned Parenthood's way. Kathy has long been a thorn in the abortion industry's side, and she deployed her sidewalk counselors as abortions resumed in the Show-Me State for the first time since 2018.
