A new Planned Parenthood website aimed at teenagers and college students, TakeCareDownThere.org, features short videos on everything from STDs to threesomes. A creepy guidance counselor gives advice to the teens on how to have safe sex. In one clip, "I didn't spew," two male teenagers are engaging in oral sex. The male teen pleasuring his partner stands up and wipes his mouth as the guidance counselor urges the teens to use condoms.
This new website is being paid for with taxpayer dollars. Title X funds, money allocated directly from the federal government for family planning services, is going to the Planned Parenthood clinic in Oregon that has created and now markets TakeCareDownThere.org to teens.
"This new website is beyond offensive and it's an outrage that our hard-earned tax dollars are going to pay for such filth," said Kristan Hawkins, executive director of Students for Life of America (SFLA). "This is one more reason Planned Parenthood must be de-funded. Our tax dollars should never be going to pay for this kind of offensive material."
SFLA called the clinic responsible for the website. Liz Delapoer of Planned Parenthood of Oregon said they receive Title X funding.
Planned Parenthood receives a third of its budget from taxpayers, over $350 million. They've been caught accepting donations aimed at specifically targeting black babies for abortions; they are engaged in lawsuits around the country for failing to report child rape and abuse; and they are under criminal investigation in Kansas.
In the "I didn't spew" clip on TakeCareDownThere.org, the teen servicing his partner is African-American and the teen being serviced is white. Is this one more example of Planned Parenthood's tendencies towards racism?
"Over a third of Planned Parenthood clinics are located in minority neighborhoods and it's no secret that the organization's founder, Margaret Sanger, was a eugenicist who wanted to wipe out the black population," said Hawkins. "This is completely insensitive of Planned Parenthood, considering the recent racist allegations, and will no doubt offend African-Americans."
