“Add your voice”: The voice of the unborn Video: http://www.h2onews.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=21559&catid=54&Itemid=14

Rosa María Ordaz from Mexico is a volunteer for the Association Suma Tu voz, "Add your Voice". While visiting Rome, she spoke to H2onews about the goal of this foundation that promotes the value of life and of the family:

"We are focused on the issue concerning babies who are not wanted by their mothers, who do not want to become mothers, who are advocating for their right to abortion -- and this is exactly what we are focused on. We want to persuade and convince them that we are going to respect their right, not the right to have an abortion, but that of not becoming a mother…
…This is a wonderful alternative, to tell the women: we respect your right to not be a mother, yes, but we are giving you the wonderful option of giving the child up for adoption."

Rosa María Ordaz, who has also worked for pro-life foundations in the US, believes that women who have an abortion do so out of ignorance.

"The majority of women abort because of ignorance. They are unaware of the physical risks that an abortion entails.

I have seen the damage that abortion causes a woman, the psychological damage, the emotional damage, the spiritual damage -- how extensively it affects their lives.

Obviously, they are not aware that the decision that they are going to take -- a so-called free decision -- is also a decision that will tie them down and enslave them with wounds that, on a spiritual and emotional level, are very, very difficult to heal.

We add our voices and in this way we become the voices, or better said, the voice of the unborn, of the most innocent, of the most vulnerable."

This association, founded back in 2008 in the city of León, Mexico, accepts all members who defend the right to life.
