FROM THE FRONT LINES:

Still A Long Way To Go Before Anti-Life Health Care Becomes Reality

November 23, 2009

Washington, DC - On Saturday evening, the Senate voted 60-39 to open debate on their version of the health care bill that stripped away the House provision that would have banned the tax funding of abortions. The Senate version now being considered would open the floodgates on the public funding of abortion.

"The voice of the American people was not heard on the Senate floor, but we will be heard before this debate is over," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.

"The vast majority of Americans oppose tax funding for abortions. With the 2010 elections just around the corner, politicians must realize that opposition to abortion and tax funding of abortion are deeply held convictions that voters will express at the ballot box. Elected officials who ignore the will of the people by supporting efforts to allow tax money to be used to take innocent lives and bail out a failing abortion industry cannot expect to receive the votes of their constituents that they ignored and betrayed."

"There is still a long way to go before the massive health care bill can become law," Newman continued. "We will continue to expose and oppose the anti-life measures that are being forced upon the unwilling American public."

Hodari Forced Abortion News Story Gaining Traction

Flint, MI -- The story that Michigan abortionist Alberto Hodari is being sued by a former patient for a forced abortion is making news on the Internet and in the main stream media.

"When the truth about abortionists is exposed to the public, it works to inform women and save lives," said Operation Rescue Senior Policy Advisor Cheryl Sullenger.  "It also makes it harder for authorities to sweep incidents of abortion misbehavior under the rug."

Pro-life Documentary "Thine Eyes" To Premiere on EWTN

A documentary about the annual March for Life, "Thine Eyes", is scheduled to premiere on EWTN on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at 10 PM ET.  (Please check your local listings.)

Featuring pro-life actress Jennifer O'Neal, the high quality film presents an inspiring view of the hundreds of thousands of pro-life Americans that make a yearly pilgrimage to our nation's capital to stand for the lives of the pre-born.

Producer Jack Cashill did an amazing job with this documentary and we highly recommend it.   You may even what to host a watching party with your friends or church group.  It could easily be used as a recruiting tool.
