This week marks the biggest change that LifeSiteNews has ever undergone. To start with, you will notice that your email today looks quite different. In fact, you may not have even received the LifeSiteNews Daily News for some time and suddenly started to receive it again today. This is due to the fact that we are using a brand new system of creating and sending the emails. We were having some serious, irresolvable issues with our old system. Work on the final formatting, etc. of the Daily News emails is still ongoing, so please be patient as we work out all the bugs and improve the look and functions as the week goes on. In addition, the website has undergone a very dramatic change. If you have not yet seen it, please do so by going here. Also, take a moment to watch our brief introductory video that should pop up when you go to the website. If it does not pop up, you can see it by clicking here. In the video, John-Henry and I give you a quick overview of all these exciting changes. Besides a dramatically different look, the new website is designed to allow you to become part of the LifeSiteNews community with the opportunity to comment on our articles and to easily share them on Facebook and Twitter. You will also get to know our writers better by reading their blog posts in the On the Beat blog. And there are regular blogs by a number of distinguished pro-life leaders. Additionally, due to popular request, we now have a Culture of Life section, which will focus entirely on uplifting and hopeful stories. There is much, much more, but you will discover those in the days ahead. Tweaking and finishing off of the various development tasks is still going on. For instance, you cannot yet print out the full text of all the current day’s stories at once, as was possible before. It’s coming. On behalf of the entire LifeSiteNews team, I welcome you to the new LifeSiteNews - implemented solely to better help you to change the culture to a Culture of Life. Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.
