| Planned Parenthood sympathizer admits defunding PP holds the greatest potential for damage to the abortion giant In an article entitled "Targeting Planned Parenthood", Pema Levy makes reference to the latest sting operation by Live Action, where she notes that "...it is just the latest in a series of attacks by anti-abortion advocates who hope to bring down Planned Parenthood..."She then goes on to make a point that we should all take note of if we have not already: "The real power to do damage, however, lies in a Congress sympathetic to the anti-abortion stance and with the power to cut funding."Vast sums of Planned Parenthood's income are emanating from Medicaid and government grants and programs such as Title X. Medicaid far outstrips Title X funding for "family planning", as evidenced by the story below on Medicaid funding.Medicaid reimbursements are increasing exponentially under ObamaCare. Pro-lifers must unite with one voice to demand repeal of the government takeover of health care and to stop all funding to Planned Parenthood. This is indeed the quickest way to put this depraved organization out of business once and for all. Medicaid is key to Planned Parenthood's financial solvency
A 2007 report from Planned Parenthood's Guttmacher Institute reveals the urgency of stopping Medicaid funding to Planned Parenthood.It shows that Title X paid 15% of "family planning" cost in 2001, while Medicaid provided 61%. The 2001 total of public funding for "family planning" was $1.3 billion. In 2001, the report says, Medicaid provided 6 out of 10 of all public dollars spent on family planning. 
While Planned Parenthood emphasizes that Title X funds and Medicaid cannot be used for abortion, the Guttmacher Institute in this 2007 report reveals some of the hidden truths behind the Medicaid restriction facade.Medicaid is a joint program of federal and state governments. "[S]tates 'are free to determine the specific services and supplies which will be covered as Medicaid family planning services' within ... broad parameters," the report says.It then reveals in a footnote: "Under CMS [Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services] policy, abortion 'may not be claimed as a family planning service' under any circumstances. However, federal law allows abortion to be covered under Medicaid when the woman's life would be endangered if the pregnancy were carried to term and in cases of rape or incest; states may obtain reimbursement for these procedures under their regular federal reimbursement rates, rather than the special 90% family planning rate. Furthermore, individual states remain free to use their own funds to pay for other 'medically necessary' abortions for Medicaid beneficiaries, and 17 do so as of May 2007." (Emphasis added.)In fact, another recent Guttmacher report indicates that 20% of Medicaid recipients report having used Medicaid to pay for abortions.Members of the newly seated congress have shown support for defunding Planned Parenthood, and at the rally preceding the March for Life, one of the members of Congress implored pro-lifers to call their representatives and reinforce the cry for defunding Planned Parenthood.Let your elected officials know today that not only do we need to cut all Title X and other program funding to Planned Parenthood without exceptions, we must stop Medicaid reimbursement for "family planning" as well.

It is a constant reminder to pray for those who fight this battle against the culture of death and its visible head, Planned Parenthood.Recently, I rediscovered the origins of the image referred to as Mother Thrice Admirable, and was moved by how relevant this image is to the battle we are fighting - a movement of the people of God, called into battle against the forces of death and destruction - a battle that will be won under the leadership of Our Blessed Mother, who always brings Jesus with her.Let us turn to Mary Thrice Admirable -- Mother of God, Mother of the Redeemer, and Mother of the redeemed -- as we invoke her leadership and protection in the battle for life that looms before us, uniting as one to Bring Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary:Mother Thrice Admirable,

| Victory: Pro-Life Waco facilitates divorce between Planned Parenthood and local bank
Once again, the amazing John Pisciotta and Pro-Life Waco report a major victory in the battle against Planned Parenthood and its cohorts in Waco, Texas.On July 21, the day of Planned Parenthood's Nobody's Fool teen sex conference, Pro-Life Waco began an uphill battle to persuade Central National Bank of Waco to sever all ties with Planned Parenthood.For 2010 and several prior years, CNB was listed as an underwriter on the promotional flyer for Nobody's Fool. During the morning of Nobody's Fool, we demonstrated at the event and at Central National Bank. Our main demonstration sign included a skull and crossbones and the message, "Central National Bank Supports Planned Parenthood. Anything goes sex. 15,000+ abortions."Central National Bank appeared to have unshakable bonds with Planned Parenthood in Waco. According to my information, all members of the Board of Directors are in the Planned Parenthood camp. This includes Bernard Rapoport, whose foundation donated $192,000 in just one year to Planned Parenthood Waco.Over the decades, Mr. Rapoport has been the #1 financial backer of our local Planned Parenthood. Also, the Waco abortuary publicly bears the name of Mrs. Rapoport.Another bank board member is the father of the executive director of Planned Parenthood Waco.Following to the initial demonstration, our Mike Hoover arranged two personal visits and sent several e-mail communications to a high-level bank official in Waco.During this time of discussion we also launched a letter-writing and e-mail campaign directed at top bank officials. Mike shared printed material on the Planned Parenthood Waco abortion record, an essay on "Healthy, Happy and HOT" from PP international, and the X-rated transcript of www.takecaredown.org from Planned Parenthood in the state of Washington. So, we launched a demonstration campaign in the public right of ways in front of bank properties.Our first demonstration following Nobody's Fool was on October 12 and our last was January 21. About midway we demonstrated on Black Friday-the crazy shopping day following Thanksgiving.To step up the encouragement for change at CNB, in December Mike Hoover launched a Facebook group devoted to the Central National Bank controversy.In addition to the eventual divorce from Planned Parenthood, our challenge to CNB bore fruit in other ways. We were able to proclaim messages to the Waco community about Planned Parenthood through our signs and through materials we distributed. We were able to visit with many people who were surprised and disturbed by the link between CNB and Planned Parenthood. This led several bank customers to communicate their concerns to bank employees. Some closed out accounts.The final event leading to divorce was a visit with bank officials from a customer who is a respected member of the Waco legal community. A bank official subsequently responded with an email message stating in part "We are not going to support them [Planned Parenthood Waco] financially or otherwise in the future."The demonstrations at CNB have come to an end. We will now move on to other businesses and organizations which have tainted themselves with Planned Parenthood alliances.Thanks to all who prayed, demonstrated, wrote, talked, and Facebooked for this improbable outcome. If we step forward, with God's grace, all things are possible. We will work and pray for the full exit of Planned Parenthood from our community.Openly opposing Planned Parenthood sponsors through such activities as this bears tremendous fruit, as you can see. It was one of the prime tactics in the Amarillo area where 19 Planned Parenthood facilities shut down. Take note of businesses that are sponsoring Planned Parenthood events in your community and proceed as Pro-Life Waco did: First, try to privately dissuade them by showing them Planned Parenthood's own words and websites. If they persist, let them know you are left with no choice but to go public.Planned Parenthood must have community support to exist. When that support crumbles, the organization will begin to fold. Such demonstrations are an integral part of building that solid wall of resistance to Planned Parenthood that is necessary to eliminate it from your community.Congratulations to Pro-Life Waco for such a tremendous success and for the pledge to move forward toward other Planned Parenthood sponsors.
