Komen Reverses Decision to Fund Planned Parenthood?
The largest breast cancer charity in America, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, had announced a halt to further grants and donations to Planned Parenthood due to Congressional investigations into PP's alleged misuse of funds.
Komen seems to have now reversed itself and may resume grants to Planned Parenthood. This decision was made in a hailstorm of negative email and Facebook comments and vicious attacks by the national press.
Some say that Planned Parenthood targeted Komen's major donors, threatening to destroy the entire organization. Others hope that the wording of the Komen statement is parsed in such a way to provide enough breathing room just to live and fight another day. It included an "apology to the American public for recent decisions."
So, who is going to apologize to the thousands upon thousands of preborn babies who have lost their lives at the hands of Planned Parenthood practitioners?
The Komen foundation's apology is of this world. Komen's mission does not include protection for innocent, pre-born children. But, BY GOD, ours does.
Were we pleased when Planned Parenthood was deprived of more than half a million dollars. Yes. Were we saddened when we saw Komen get beaten into submission? Yes, saddened but not surprised.
Compromise has allowed Planned Parenthood to become dangerously powerful. "Threaten our money and we will destroy you" was the message delivered loud and clear. Even more sickening, 22 pro-abortion democratic Senators joined the assault.
This is why ALL cannot and will not compromise. When we are done telling the real story of Planned Parenthood and their abortion cronies there won't be two nickels for them to rub together.
This is what Cecile Richards needs to hear: We are here without fear, get used to it!
