Dear Friends for Life, In Europe, the retirement age is going older. A top German economist has detailed that continuing extreme low birth rates in Europe will soon mandate that no citizen can retire before age 70. In U.K., the abortions continue to increase. The abortion numbers in England and in Wales have again broken records with a 3% rise in the past year, and ever younger girls being aborted. There were 205,598 British babies killed in 2007, which amounts to about one-fourth of all pregnancies. In Spain, the shocking news of "Teen Pregnancies". The Spanish Institute for Family Policy has stated that more than half of teen pregnancies in Spain end in abortion. Of the almost 30,000 teen pregnancies, about 13,800 gave birth while 15,300 aborted. In the face of this, Spain's Socialist government has formally unveiled plans to further radicalize Spain's abortion laws. Sixteen-year-olds would be allowed to abort without parental consent, and would have abortion on demand after that age for those older than sixteen. And finally, a note on HIV. A data analysis released by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control reports that the rate of new HIV infection among men who have sex with men is more than 44 times that of other men. The director of the CDC's national center commented, "While the heavy toll of HIV and syphilis among homosexual and bisexual men has long been recognized, this analysis shows just how stark the health discrepancies are between this and other populations." (Focus on Asia): "Australian Catholic bishop says babies deemed imperfect are being sought and destoyed in the womb" - Bishop Peter Elliott, head of the John Paul II Institute for marriage and family in Melbourne, Australia, has said that the warped practise of eugenics is rising from its Nazi tomb in Australia. Bishop Elliot said that unborn children are being sought and destroyed in the womb because they have Down's Syndrome, dwarfism or other conditions. Bishop Elliot said that, as a Catholic bishop, he was bound as a pastor to help people form their consciences and not to be silent.

ITEM #1: 'IVF destroyed my family'
When Helen James embarked on fertility treatment in pursuit of her longed-for 'perfect' family, she didn't anticipate how all-consuming her quest would become. Then, when her marriage began to crumble under the pressure, she found herself facing the most difficult decision of her life...

ITEM #3: IVF 'could double risk of cerebral palsy'
Researchers at the University of Aarhus in Denmark found that babies born by IVF were more than twice as likely to have cerebral palsy as those conceived naturally. The result held up even after adjusting for factors like the age of the mother, if she smoked, and whether the baby was premature or a twin.****************************************
ITEM #4: UN Agency Promotes Sex Ed From Birth Promoting sex education to the youngest of the young has drawn harsh criticism to a UN agency and its interpretation of age-appropriate education. "It is never too early to start talking to children about sexual matters," according to guidelines issued by the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

ITEM #5: Before I Had Time to Think, It Was Over In 1973 I became pregnant from a date rape. I had tried to hide it from my parents, but of course they found out. Then the pressure started. "How are you going to go to college with a baby?" "How are you going to support it?" "It is only a blob of blood. It's not a baby yet." Before I had time to think about what I wanted, the abortion was over.

ITEM #6: Teenage pill decision 'horrifies' locals
A decision to give the contraceptive pill to girls as young as 13 on the Isle of Wight has left people "horrified," the Commons was told. Under the scheme, teenagers who visit a chemist for the morning-after pill could also get a month's supply of the contraceptive pill.

ITEM #7: New Amnesty International report promotes contraception and abortion in Indonesia
A new Amnesty report will be launched in Jakarta on Thursday 4 November and will detail the fatal consequences of denying access to sexual health services for women in Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world.

ITEM #8: Spanish Catholic bishop warns that Down's syndrome babies are being targeted for extinction
Many children with Down Syndrome are being eliminated because of abortion, a spokesman for the Roman Catholic Church in Madrid said ahead of a weekend visit by Pope Benedict XVI.

ITEM #9: Plans launched to grow organs with adult stem cells
Spanish scientists on Tuesday presented a new technique to create bioartifical organs for transplant using stem cells which they said will vastly reduce the risk of rejection of the donated organ. The technique involves "stripping" a donated heart, liver or other organ which is deemed unsuitable for donation of their cells, leaving just a "scaffold", Francisco Fernandez-Aviles, chief cardiologist at Madrid's Gregorio Maranon hospital told a news conference. Stem cells from the patient are then applied to this framework to re-grow the organ which will share their DNA, thus making it more acceptable to their body.

ITEM #10: The real harms of prostitution
In prostitution, men remove women's humanity. Buying a woman in prostitution gives men the power to turn women into a living, breathing masturbation fantasy. He removes her self and those qualities that define her as an individual, and for him she becomes sexualized body parts. She acts the part of the thing he wants her to be.

ITEM #11: Permissive Sex Ed Linked to Higher Teen-Pregnancy, Abortion Rates
Contrary to conventional wisdom, during the two decades prior to creation of federal abstinence-education funding, the birthrate of girls under age 18 did not decline. Indeed, during the safe-sex, condom mania of the 1980s, teen birthrates increased. However, after the advent of federal abstinence programs in the mid-1990s, the birthrate of girls under 18 began an unprecedented, long-term decline. The birthrate of girls ages 15 to 17 dropped by a third: from 3.5 births per 100 girls to 2.1.****************************************
ITEM #12: Children's promiscuity advances pornography/prostitution The public should be aware that increasing children's promiscuity advances the interests of sexual predators and of the booming pornography/prostitution sex industry. Adult society is responsible for being sufficiently mature to protect our young. Our individual and societal self indulgence and failure to protect is therefore painfully visible everywhere. No blame is due any child in this tragic process. The coaches, guilty of promoting alleged consensual child abuse, should be located, arrested for contributing to the delinquency of minors and prosecuted to the full limit of tough pre-Kinsey laws.
