We should never receive Him lightly, and the utmost reverence and respect should be given at all times. Yet, all too often, we see a disregard for the Church's teachings on the Eucharist and the way in which we should receive our Lord. Parents should give babies sense of sexuality from birth: Planned Parenthood Life Site News A program touted as "a bold, nationwide, social change effort" is being launched by Planned Parenthood to alter family dialogue about sexuality and encourage parents to ease their children's transition into a sexually active lifestyle. Entitled "Real Life Real Talk," the program was first used in Connecticut, New York, Maine, and Arizona between 2004 and 2008, and its nationwide distribution is now being funded by groups that include the Ford Foundation. The stated goal of the program is "to positively change the social climate in communities" with "more open, honest, and balanced talk" about sex; it targets parents and guardians of children as young as 8 years old. |
Archbishop will join black leaders to decry NYC's skyrocketing abortions and pregnancy care center harassment Jill Stanek Chris Slattery, president of EMC Frontline Pregnancy Centers [an American Life League Associate group], announced on Facebook last night that New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan, also president of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, will join Alveda King and other African-American leaders on January 10 for a rally spotlighting New York City's ghastly abortion rate, particularly among blacks. The group will also speak out against a NYC Council bill that seeks to harass pregnancy care centers. |
