Wednesday, January 26, 2011 This Week's Feature YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS AT WORK: AUL PROVIDED NUMEROUS WAYS TO SHOW WASHINGTON, D.C. THAT "LIFE COUNTS"... AND THOUSANDS RESPONDED Each cold and often dismal January, thousands come to Washington, D.C. to remember those who do not walk among us, the unborn who have lost their lives to abortion in the 38 years since Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided by the U.S. Supreme Court. AUL organized a number of projects to draw attention to this tragic date in history. From receptions at AUL for pro-life leaders to a unique, on-line petition, to the release of the “Life List” (which ranked all 50 states based on how they respect life in the law from cradle to grave), to signs which proclaimed the message “Life Counts,” AUL provided a way for people to mark the tragic anniversary and a way to be counted. As a picture is worth a thousand words, here is a look at all the good you did in supporting AUL, and for those who could not come to Washington, D.C. to March for Life, consider joining us in 2012.
