Operation Rescue: One Abortionist Quits While Lawsuit Convinces Second Abortionist To Move

Greg Linhardt has dropped plans to open an abortion clinic in Wichita, Kansas. Abortionist Means has agreed to abandon her plans to begin abortions at her current office.

Wichita, KS – Abortionist-in-training Mila Means has given up her efforts to begin abortions at her East Harry medical office in Wichita, Kansas, after the landlord sued her and obtained a temporary restraining order against her.

Monday, both sides stipulated to an agreement that Means will not pursue plans to commit abortions in her current office while the Foliage, Inc. agreed to let her out of her lease early. Means hired Lee Thompson to represent her, who formerly represented late-term abortionist George Tiller.

This stipulation has put the lawsuit on hold for at least six months to give Means an opportunity to move. As long as she remains in her office on Harry Street she will not be allowed to do abortions.

Means has indicated that she would like to open an abortion business in Wichita later this year after she completes her dubious training at the troubled abortion mill, Aid for Women, in Kansas City, Kansas.

So far no one has been willing to lease property to her.

“Abortion is bad for business. No one wants their property devalued or their neighborhood upset because of an abortionist coming into their area,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman, who was listed in the suit as a potential witness for Mean’s landlord.

“Wherever there is an abortion business, there will also be pro-lifers who seek to offer help to abortion-bound women and educate the community. If some find that disturbing, it is because abortion is a disturbing business that negatively impacts the entire community.”

Meanwhile, Operation Rescue has confirmed that Greg Linhardt, who had entertained the idea of opening his own abortion mill in Wichita, apart from Means, has ceased his training and quit the abortion business for good. Linhardt is an anesthesiologist and plans to continue in that specialty.

No one is currently doing abortions in Wichita. The community has been abortion-free since the last abortion mill closed in June, 2009.

“Dr. Linhardt did the right thing by quitting and we wish him the best. We are grateful that he made the decision to return to the business of healing,” said Newman. “We will continue to monitor the situation and will take all legal and appropriate measures to insure that Wichita remains abortion free.”
