Petitions in Support of 20 Week Abortion Ban Delivered to US Senate from Millennials

Students for Life of America today delivered petitions from students across the nation to the U.S. Senate Majority and Minority Leaders advocating banning abortions after 20 weeks through the Pain Capable Unborn Protection Act, which was passed one month ago today in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“Millennials are not apathetic about abortion, much less abortions committed on preborn babies that feel pain at 20 weeks and beyond,” said Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America. “The Senate needs to listen to these students, to women, to all Americans, the vast majority of who oppose abortions that late in pregnancy.”

When a Hypothetical Story Isn't Hypothetical After All

Reprinted from www.JoshBrahm.com
Sometimes when I talk about abortion with strangers, it feels like I’ve already had that conversation before, because they’re making familiar statements. But the truth is, I haven’t had that conversation before, because I haven’t heard that statement from that person before. I think there’s a lesson you can learn from this situation that will help you have better dialogues with pro-choice people.

I was in town to speak at a conference when Mark picked me up, and after we exchanged some pleasantries, he asked me what I do for a living.
