40 Days For Life: DAY 29: Dangerous and disgusting

image
PROGRAMMING ALERT: I will be on EWTN Pro-Life Weekly TOMORROW, Thursday March 26, at 9pm Central/10pm Eastern to discuss the suspension of the vigils and the attack in Pittsburgh.
Planned Parenthood apparently has still not fired the abortion worker who deliberately coughed on and gave the middle finger to a Pittsburgh 40 Days for Life vigil participant.
I discuss that and let you know how to get a FREE copy of To the Heart of the Matter in today's video blog:

Amidst a deadly global pandemic, the Pittsburgh abortion worker needs to be let go in the interest of public health...and for her own sake.
After all, getting fired from Planned Parenthood was the best thing that ever happened to 40 Days for Life Outreach Director Sue Thayer.
In this new column at Townhall, Sue says getting fired could be a good thing for the abortion worker who spread both fear and germs in Pittsburgh:

Manhattan, New York

The prayers of 40 Days for Life vigil participants in Manhattan have clearly been answered. Prior to the suspension of public vigils on Sunday, the campaign had saved SEVEN babies from abortion.
Manhattan prayer warriors continue to pray from home, around-the-clock.
"I just wanted to let you know that for the first time in the history of Manhattan 40 Days for Life, we have 24 hour prayer coverage!" wrote Laurie, the campaign leader.

El Cajon, California

Nobody wants to deal with pro-abortion protesters at their vigil...
...but usually the presence of protesters backfires. When more people take a stand on abortion--for or against--in front of an abortion facility, women are more likely to skip their abortion appointments.
Before public vigils were suspended, Pat in El Cajon had a thoughtful discussion on abortion with one pro-abortion demonstrator. "We recommended that she and her boyfriend see the movie Unplanned," Pat wrote. "She said she would. All-in-all, it was such a positive experience that we decided to take a photo [together]."
Hopefully, the experience sewed the seeds of conversion!

Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgressions of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us; and will subdue our iniquities.
Micah 7:18-19
Hear our prayer of repentance, Lord, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We praise you for your tender mercies and your compassion that never fails. Lord, it is only by Your grace that we can live lives that are just, and merciful.
May Your Holy Spirit enable us to walk humbly in Your presence and may You be pleased to restore our nation so that a generation not yet born may praise you.
For life,
