Young Woman Who Died from Botched 33-Week Abortion Identified
The woman who died and was a victim of a botched 33-week abortion has been identified as 29-year-old Jennifer McKenna Morbelli, of New Rochelle, New York.

A report from pro-life blogger Jill Stanek says two sources confirmed the identity of the victim. Morbilli died Thursday as the result of fatal complications suffered during an abortion at 33 weeks at the hand of late-term abortion practitioner LeRoy Carhart. The abortion took place at the Germantown Reproductive Health Center in Germantown, Maryland. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/10/young-woman-who-died-from-botched-33-week-abortion-identified/

New Book: Abortion is Decimating America s Population, Workforce
A new book titled What to Expect When No One s Expecting makes a very riveting case that abortion has decimated the population of the United States and its workforce. You can purchase the book here.

Written by Johnathon Last, the book provides an answer to the question, Is America too crowded? http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/10/new-book-abortion-is-decimating-americas-population-workforce/

Obama Admin s HHS Mandate Revisions Just an Accounting Gimmick
The Health and Human Services (HHS) mandate accommodation proposed last Friday does not relieve the burden that has been placed on religious hospitals, colleges and charities, or on individuals wishing to freely exercise their faith or assert their rights of conscience. There is no expansion of the religious exemption because Internal Revenue Service provisions relied upon by HHS to define religious entities do not apply to most religiously affiliated institutions.

Moreover, the process by which an institution can receive an accommodation puts it right in the middle of having to arrange free contraceptive services for its employees, even though it is not paying for them itself. That is a distinction without a difference, and ostensibly an accounting gimmick, as the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops noted Thursday.http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/10/obama-admins-hhs-mandate-revisions-just-an-accounting-gimmick/

New Pro-Life Book Cultivating Weeds Sees the Future of Abortion
Cultivating Weeds is a fictional story written by first-time author and president of Secular Pro-Life Kelsey Hazzard. The book tells the story of Stacey Roberts Casanueva, an abortionist from the future.

The date is January 22, 2072. As the narrator of the story, Stacey s daughter, Crystal, recalls the events of her mother s life, thirty-five years after they ve taken place. By this point, the world has been impacted by Stacey Casaneuva s actions. She is a figure hated by some, beloved by others. Crystal seeks to set the record straight by giving an inside peak into her mother s world. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/10/new-pro-life-book-cultivating-weeds-sees-the-future-of-abortion/

Fathers: The Missing Piece of the Abortion Puzzle
The abortion debate continues apace with the 40th anniversary of the Roe v Wade decision this year. Advocates for abortion rights celebrate a woman s right to choose, while pro-life supporters emphasise not only the loss of an unborn baby but also the regrets that haunt many women after having an abortion. Unfortunately, both sides miss an important and unheard voice in this debate: The voice of fathers who lose their children to abortion.

Men bear equal responsibility as women for creating life but have no say in whether or not their unborn child will see the light of day. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/10/fathers-the-missing-piece-of-the-abortion-puzzle/

Isn t Sandra Fluke the Extremist When it Comes to Birth Control?
Sandra Fluke, the champion of free birth control for women, has reached a new low in her quest to shame the American public into believing that when it comes to promiscuity and sex, employers with well-formed consciences are badly in need of government intervention.

In addition, Fluke has a serious problem with religious freedom if the expression of that freedom interferes with her heart s desire free birth control. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/10/isnt-sandra-fluke-the-extremist-when-it-comes-to-birth-control/

Pressure Against Cuomo Stopping Pro-Abortion Bill in New York

Pro-life organizations have been putting pressure on lawmakers to rebuff pro-abortion Gov. Andrew Cuomo s efforts to promote the bill. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/10/pressure-against-cuomo-stopping-pro-abortion-bill-in-new-york/
