Rejecting Abortion: a 16-Year-Old s Selfless Act of Love
LOVE :: {luhv} noun, verb, loved, lov-ing, a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.
I m one of those people that can throw around that word a lot. LOVE. My husband. My kids. My girl friends. My Embrace Grace mommas. My grandmother. My housekeeper (she s amazing). I LOVE YOU! http://www.lifenews.com/2012/06/04/rejecting-abortion-a-16-year-olds-selfless-act-of-love/
Gift of Life: Teen Mom Chooses Adoption Over Abortion
I never thought it would happen to me. I had an amazing boyfriend who I thought hung the moon. I was a junior in high school a girl from a small town in Georgia. Everything was perfect, until my whole world came crashing down.
I got really sick one night and told my younger sister I thought I might be pregnant. A few days later, July 4, 2010, I told my aunt. She said to stay calm; it was all going to be okay. She suggested I tell my dad s girlfriend, so that night, I did. She bought me a home pregnancy test, and it came up positive. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/04/gift-of-life-teen-mom-chooses-adoption-over-abortion/
Planned Parenthood Admits it Doesn t Need Federal Money
While the civilized world reeled in horror at Planned Parenthood s demonstrated willingness to aid and abet child sex-trafficking, as revealed in Live Action s latest sting, another consistent theme seems to have gone largely unnoticed in those videos:
Planned Parenthood caters to those with either insurance or cash, and has repeatedly suggested to the confederate posing as a pimp, as well as to others, that the same STD testing services may be obtained for free at the county health department, and also by donating blood. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/02/17/planned-parenthood-admits-it-doesnt-need-federal-money/
While Others Protect Women, Planned Parenthood Runs With Scissors
The liberal group MoveOn.org, which brought us online ads comparing President George W. Bush to Adolph Hitler and newspaper ads calling a decorated military general a traitor, now is focusing on getting people to rally to the side of abortionists like Planned Parenthood and to defend taxpayer funding and subsidizing of the abortion giant.
Staying true to form of showing the creativity of a dull peanut MoveOn.org relies on that old vile standby of a coat hanger abortion, and no surprise they get a third rate from Hollywood to play a terrified woman. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/02/17/while-others-protect-women-planned-parenthood-runs-with-scissors/
After 40 Years of Roe vs. Wade, Abortion Still Hurts Women
January 22 marks the 40th Anniversary of the Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision creating a right to abortion. Along with its companion case, Doe v. Bolton, that right was extended throughout pregnancy all nine months, for any reason. This makes the United States one of the four most radical nations in the world on abortion policy, along with China, North Korea, and Canada. In fact, most of the 195 nations limit abortion after about 20 weeks, because of the health risks to women and their child.
Not only have over 50 million[i] babies lost their lives from abortion since 1973, but women are being put in harm s way every day. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/17/after-40-years-of-roe-vs-wade-abortion-still-hurts-women/
Today in 2010: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Faces Abortion Lecture at Congressional Hearing
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton testified before a Congressional committee on Thursday where two pro-life members of Congress presented her with a long lecture on abortion and how it hurts women. Clinton appeared before the House Foreign Affairs Committee to talk about the International Affairs Budget.
Congressmen Chris Smith, a New Jersey Republican, and Jeff Fortenberry, a Nebraska Republican, both addressed pro-life issues during the hearing. http://www.lifenews.com/2010/02/25/int-1473/
Stillborn at 40 Weeks: Canada Says My Sister Wasn t a Human Being
Having worked with the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform for a year now and being confronted with the issue of abortion on a daily basis, I was fully aware of the gravity of the situation here in Canada. However, it was not until a few weeks ago that I realized that the current status quo has serious personal implications for my family.
In my growing up years, abortion was an issue we never spoke about, and certainly never worried about. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/26/stillborn-at-40-weeks-canada-says-my-sister-wasnt-a-human-being/
Deaths at Planned Parenthood Show No Concern for Women
Over the last two years, at least 15 states have initiated investigations into abortion clinics and individual abortion providers for providing substandard patient care poor care that, in some cases, has resulted in women s deaths. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/10/09/deaths-at-planned-parenthood-show-no-concern-for-women/

Report: 1500 Abortion Clinics Have Closed Since 1991
On the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion, pro-lifers have something to celebrate: the closure of 1,500 abortion clinics over the past 22 years. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/21/report-1500-abortion-clinics-have-closed-since-1991/
Ford Foundation s Ties to Planned Parenthood Run Deep
Earlier this year I discussed some interesting ties between Planned Parenthood and the Rockefeller Foundation, and why came as no surprise the Foundation pushed to legalize abortion in Uruguay. The Ford Foundation was another advocate for the decriminalization of abortion there as well, but this shouldn t come as much of a shock, either.. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/02/17/ford-foundations-ties-to-planned-parenthood-run-deep/
Studies: Birth Control, Contraception Don t Cut Abortions
Contraception reduces unintended pregnancies has joined its fantastic make-believe friends death with dignity, the efficacy of embryonic stem cells, the certainty of man-made global warming, and the positive multiplier effect in the leftist vernacular. Hopeful that repetition supplants truth, choirs of liberal faithful are singing. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/02/17/studies-birth-control-contraception-dont-cut-abortions/
Then and Now: The Descent of Ethics in the Medical Field
I feel blessed to have grown up and become a nurse in the era of TV programs like Marcus Welby, MD, Ben Casey, and Medical Center. I couldn t wait to be part of such a noble profession and I proudly recited the Florence Nightingale Pledge, the nursing equivalent of the Hippocratic Oath, at my graduation from a Catholic nursing school in 1969. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/16/then-and-now-the-decent-of-ethics-in-the-medical-field/
Barack Obama s So-Called Desire to Reduce Abortions Doesn t Make Him Pro-Life
President Barack Obama is unequivocal in his support of "abortion rights."He has opposed laws forbidding the gruesome practice of partial-birth abortion, and even voted against Illinois born alive infant protection act, which protects babies who are born alive after surviving an attempted abortion. http://www.lifenews.com/2009/02/16/nat-4839/
Pregnancy Help Line Has New Phone Number, Still Saves Lives
Heartbeat International s Option Line reaches and rescues as many lives as possible by connecting women who face unexpected pregnancies with the pregnancy help organization that can meet their needs. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/02/16/pregnancy-help-line-has-new-phone-number-still-saves-lives/
People With Disabilities Offer a Thread for Weaving Joy
While some people resent the imperfection, the inconvenience, and the expense of persons with disabilities, others see in them an invitation to learn how to love deeply without counting the cost. God will demand an accounting. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/02/15/people-with-disabilities-offer-a-thread-for-weaving-joy/
I Can t Undo My Mistake: A Post-Abortive Woman s Letter
The following unsigned letter was received by a priest friend of mine following a pro-life homily. Her message is a powerful one that deserves to be heard by and shared with all young women and parents in a similar situation. I am happy to share her witness with you. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/02/09/i-cant-undo-my-mistake-a-post-abortive-womans-letter/
