One of my
favorite images of Jesus is the image of the Sacred Heart with His Red
Heart in his Hand, saying, "Here, I give it to you freely."
There's a
two-fold meaning in this wonderful gift, His Sacred Heart. The gift is
given, meant to be received, but then that gift is meant to be transform
the individual who can then share it, transforming the world.
During this
Easter time as we contemplate this beautiful gift, be assured of the
prayers of Human Life International's family: our directors, affiliates,
and collaborators around the world. Be assured of our prayers for your
family and friends.
We pray that
our diligence in defense of life may transform our world as Christ
himself came that all might have life -- and have it abundantly.

Macau - For my second
pro-life mission to Macau, I [Dr. Ligaya Acosta] was joined by HLI
President Father Shenan Boquet and Dr. Brian Clowes, the director of
education and research. During the late winter trip we reached almost
4,000 people and received an invitation to return for a more complete
pro-life training mission for clergy and religious by the Macau Bishop,
His Excellency Jose Lai Hung Seng. We hope this next mission might take
place this November to coincide with HLI's Asia-Pacific Congress (ASPAC)
on Faith, Life and Family in Taiwan. - continue-

as pro-family advocates find ways to educate Filipinos on the country's
proposed House Bill 1799. HLI Philippines country director Rene

to draw attention to the harmful effects that are expected to follow the
