Praying for Life Year-Round
August 2015

Intercession
May our world leaders work humbly and resolutely for peace and the protection of all human life.
Prayer
Our Father, 3 Hail Marys, Glory Be
Reflection
If you turn on a TV, open an internet browser, or read the
newspaper, you are bound to see a flurry of war, crime, and other acts
of violence towards people--especially the most vulnerable
in society. It is vital that we turn to God and ask for his love and
mercy to fill the hearts of all those involved. May our Lord inspire all
world leaders to work diligently to protect all human life.

Acts of Reparation (choose one)
- Make an act of faith, hope, or love every day this week.
- Don't push the snooze button tomorrow. Get right out of bed and offer your day in prayer to God.
- Make
a "quiet hour" today or sometime this week, turning off all electronic
devices (cell phone, iPod, computer, television, radio, video game
system), and retreat to your room. Spend some time in prayer or
prayerful reading.

One Step Further
If the Planned Parenthood news
coverage has caused anyone to experience revived trauma from their own
involvement in abortion, be assured that any and all persons will be
welcomed with compassion and assistance through the Church's
post-abortion healing ministry, Project Rachel. If you or someone you
know would like confidential, nonjudgmental help, please visit www.projectrachel.com.
